Oh honey--hormones and the changes your body goes through isn't going to be kind to you.
Listen: you are going to gain weight, and no one can really say whether or not 6 pounds is healthy other than your doctor.
As for the tight clothes, it's normal. You can't avoid it. Your baby is growing! That's a good thing!

I know how you feel. I have the same problem and I'm 21 weeks. The weight loss has stopped with some dietary adjustments but the nausea is still going strong. Some people are just unlucky and the morning sickness lasts longer or even the whole pregnancy. Try eating several small meals during the day instead of big meals. Just 4-6 bites to have something in your stomach and then eat again in 1-2 hours. It will keep your blood sugar up, get baby the nutrition it needs, and not overload your stomach. Just make sure the food is mostly healthy since you can't handle much. Keep something by your bed at night such as dried fruit or crackers and have a couple bites when you wake up so your stomach won't totally empty even at night. Also, soups and fruit juices are good for getting some nutrition and fluid at the same time. I recommend low-acid juices unless you can handle acidic juice. The thing that is helping me the most is actually making sure to eat some fruit the moment I wake up. The natural sugars seem to help. Maybe it will work for you. Can't hurt to try it. I just keep an apple, orange, or banana by the bed for when I wake up. Since you can eat yogurt, one of my favorite snacks might be a good meal for you. Get 3-5 different fruits (such as apples, oranges, peaches, and grapes) and cut them into bite sized pieces. Dump into a bowl and spoon in some vanilla yogurt (I like low fat but any kind is fine) until you feel there's enough (everyone likes a different amount). Eat what you want and just put the rest away. It's healthy and easy on the stomach. It will last at least a couple days in the fridge covered. I really don't know how long it will last because it never lasts long for me. Hope you feel better soon! Oh yeah, if you're on prenatal vitamins, ask about a low-iron one. It may help. If you're already on one, ask about children's vitamins. That's what I have to take because even the low-iron vitamins made me sicker than a dog. If you're not on an anti-nausea med, I suggest asking for one. There are plenty of safe ones to take during pregnancy. Noone likes taking meds during pregnancy but when the alternative is hospitalization with an IV in your arm so you and baby don't starve it suddenly looks like a really good idea!

You're going to get a lot bigger, so get ready for it. Now is the time that you're going to start really showing, and it's going to feel uncomfortable for a while. Get some maternity clothes, regular clothes make you just look fat, while maternity clothes are designed to show off the baby bump.
As far as how much you should gain, it all depends on your build and body type. Your doctor will let you know if you've gained too much or not enough.
Good luck, and enjoy this time.

It really depends on the woman. I am a very small girl (under 100 lbs normally) and so I'd put on probably 8 lbs by the 15 week point. If you're a larger woman than you might not gain as much weight. If you're small you may have a bit more weight gain. Especially during the first weeks/months. Unless your doctor expressed concern then you're perfectly fine.

lol 6 lbs you should be thankful!!!! I am 21w and have gained 20 but you know i really dont eat any more than ever and i hate sweets i live on salads.. really...who cares as long as you dont gain 50 or 60 you'll loose it.... in no time you belly will start your show. I think at 15 weeks is right around the time that i went in to maternity. im usually 5'2'' 125 so im not a heavy girl.. it is not good however to wear tight things over your belly so break donw and buy a super cute pair of maternity
jeans ..

dont worry about weight gain atall
my sis is pregnant at the moment she is about 18/19 weeks and she hasnt really put on much weight only on her belly and at the start of her pregnancy she had no apotite and lost a few pounds but then again my cousin who just recently had her baby boy! put all her weight on in the first few months and stayed like that for a long time. every woman is different and although my sisters belly is very round but tight you might just not have filled up with fluid yet. you should ask your midwife more about that or even your doc. you know you are aloud to ask them!
good luck with your baby and i hope you go through a good safe labour
all the best :D

usually by 20 weeks you ahve put on about 10 -15 pounds depending on your prepregnancy weight, so 6 at 15 weeks is not at all abnormal, soon enough that wobbly tummy will be hard and round , I wouldnt worry you are gainng a health amount of weigh for an amazing reason.. :)
