Absolutely, I don't know what the exact terminology is but you can totally predict when a woman has the ability to get pregnant and during those days avoid sex. You predict this by tracking her period cycle.
My brother and his wife has been married for a year, they don't use any contraceptives at all, they follow the natural method and
it obviously works cause I still don't have any nieces or nephews yet.

There are a few natural ways - the most effective of which is to not have sex.

Aside from that, there is the rhythm method, in which you take your basal temperature every single day at the same time and keep a chart. People who practice this are often referred to as parents.

There is a lot of birth control out there, now. Condoms, the pill, the cervical cap, the depo shot, the IUD and more. I know there are religious reasons for avoiding them, but...

Be really, really careful.

Talk to your health care provider. If you can't, get yourself to Planned Parenthood. They will never divulge your information to your parents, no matter how old you are. Good luck, and protect yourself.

I am going to assume "abstinence" was not what you were looking for.

So, there is clearly the other two sexual options, of oral and anal sex.

Then there is tracking of your basal metabolic temperature and cervical mucous and periods to see when you are most fertile. This method, if done properly can be very effective. However you would still have to avoid sex 5 -8 days before ovulation because sperm live for 5 days and a few extra days to be on the safe side.

There are however forms of birth control that are non hormonal that you can utilize if you prefer to avoid hormones, which is understandable. There are IUD- copper- and there are actual barriers like condoms, female condoms, diaphrams and sponges.

Talk to your health care provider to discuss what options are best for you.

Sex is an enjoyable part of life, there is no reason to avoid it. You can easily prevent pregnancy and enjoy sex by being well informed and doing your research.

Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Yes and it can be very effective if followed faithfully. Look up the rhythm method of birth control. There is even a set of beads that you can use to determine the safest days to have sex. Eah day you move a bead over. It is a visual clue that can make it easier than using a calendar. Study it well and if you stick to it, it can be almost as effective as the pill. Like any other method, there will be a risk of pregnancy.

Good luck

It's called the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM). There is a lovely book called 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' by Toni Weshchler that will tell you how to do it. It involves taking your temperature every day and looking at other signs to make a chart that will tell you when you are fertile. Basically if you don't use other protection then there are about 5 days a month that you shouldn't have sex.

I believe that if don't believe in abstinence, then careful Family Planning is ideal. If you keep track of your menstrual cycle and ovulation you should be able to pinpoint the times when you are not "fertile", as such. Hope this helps!
