why? have a baby raise them till about 2, leave the daddy and let him raise them. find somebody else,have another baby,raise them till their about 2, then leave the daddy....and on and on and on!!

i had a pre-term birth at 7 months of pregnancy I was 14 years old,on january 2006 , i got pregnant again on march 2006 I had my second babygirl on november 2006 I was 15 , my baby is one year-old I have never been in birth-control in the past year,also i never breast-feeded her so, I don't know why I haven't get pregnant ,I know I i'm young to have babies but, I get worried.

I was really sick for about a week and I had to go to the Er, I told them that I was on BC, and they said ok and gave me a type of antiiotic. I didn't bother to read the bottle. Untill I finshed the 30 tabs (3 a day for 10 days), And to my suprise it says right on it that it lowers the effectivness of BC.


So now I am scard out of my mind that I might be pregant.

What are some of the early signs, other than a missed periode?

+my friend is having a baby boy in feb. and i want to get her a diaper bag and fill it up with baby stuff like clothes, baby wipes, diapers, teethers, bottles, toys, shampoo, lotion, babypowder, rash cream, washcloths, bibs, blankets etc.

I am a 25 year old mother, and my daughter will turn 3 in 2 months. My friends tell me that she should know how to recite her alphabet and numbers at this age. She knows colors, and she repeats her abc's with me. I have taught her shapes and she can point to them and say them. I set aside time each day for us to practice her alphaber and numbers, but she can't say them on her own. She reconizes some of them when she sees them. I read to my daughter every day, but people tell me that she should be starting to read the books on her own. I am feeling guilty because if she isn't doing these things it is because I am not teaching her enouph. She is a smart child and I don't see any signs of her being a slow learner. How do I know if she is learning enouph? Her doctor never really ask me how well she is learning things like this. My husband and I spend alot of time with her and try to teach her as much as we can. How do I know if she is learning quickly enouph

alright i'm facing a small dilemma. my husband and i are each from different states. I'm from virginia and he's from lousiana and there is pretty much no way to get the families together at the same time no matter how much notice is given in advance. he's also in the military so we cant just take time off here and there to make it extremely convenient so i was wondering if babies can be christened twice? i was going to do it here in virginia since my family here will be together for thanksgiving anyways then when we went to lousiana for christmas all of his family would be there as well. is there a rule that says you cant do that? just curious...thanks in advance

Just few weeks ago i shared a great news in ths forum..and i was so excited and Happy that after trying so hard i got pregnant.and everybody here wished me good luck and happiness but that happiness didnt last long and just on friday ie.yesterday i came to know about ths bad news that my baby is no more alive..Actually it was just a follow up ultrasound in which we came to know that my baby;s heartbeat stopped...and it was so shocking becoz just last week we heard the heartbeat and ths week it stopped...doc.said it is due to some chromosomes abnormality,but i dont understand why ths happend to me...we were tryng for so long,it was heartbreaking for me and my husband and for all our family members as ths was our first child..its like everythg has just stopped and still i m unable to realise that it happened..did any1 has ths situatio,that.due to chromosomes his baby didnt survive???i wish no one has to go through ths.

Our daughter is 9 months old and we have anoother baby on the way..my family lives abroad and my husband's family is about 4 hrs away so we don't have any support close by...we have come to a point where we are desperate for a couple of hrs to ourselves..we've had one dinner out since our girl was born and i feel slightly frustrated about it...I know parents in the same situation use baby sitter agencies but i feel a bit vary...Does anyone know or have used the online agency Sitters.co.uk (uk)?

some advice? I read this question and it sounds just like me...I'm 15... "i used to be really quite confident , but lately , ive been feeling so ugly .. and ive been thinking about it non stop ... when people are talking to me , i start to wonder if they are thinking about how ugly i am , and i have to pertend to be really happy , cuz i usually am , but right now i feel so down about how i look
there is this stirring feeling in my stomach that makes me feel like i cant be calm , and i get this sick feeling inside like i really cant wait to get home , and change sumthing ( like my shirt or my hair or to just hide)
i keep thinking " i want to be pretty !!" over and over again , untill it almost hurts.. . the other girls at my school are just all so pretty
when i look in the mirror , i feel ok , but then when im at school and with people , i have this vision in my head of this really ugly me, and i cant seem to shake it
how can i stop this , and feel better ?"

I asked a question earlier asking if i might be pregant. People saying that i might had a misscarege but i did not. After my period that was on the 11/11 i started trying for a baby and today i had some bleeding. NOT TO MUCH, IT WASNT EVEN NOTICEBLE and i heard that this are signs showing you that you are pregnant. but how can i be if i didn start my ovulation yet?

I am going to retire from teaching and will have the time and resources. If you have done this, can you share the best and worst from your experiences please. I am not interested in adoption, just helping children with needs. I realize there is training involved and that you do get a stipend to put toward food and clothing. I have read that most foster parents add to that amount. My real concerns revolve around safety, I guess, My own children are old enough this. Are you permitted to specify ages for the children you accept? What else should I be aware of? Thanks
