Yes, but it's not unheard of as a nickname. Go with Olivia and just call her Livia for short.

Yeah it sounds like Liver. Name the baby Olivia and you can call her Livia if you want to.

no, but it sounds like It's missing an "O". I kind of sounds ilke somethine to do with the heart, or another organ. IE: "When The doctor did the bypass, he made the incision near the chest, and went past the Livia to the heart."

No. Like someone else said it sounds like a nickname for Olivia. Of course, if you're naming a child this and you're trying to calculate how much they will be made fun of for their name, don't bother. Kids will find a way to twist the name into something perverted or embarrasing.

No I really had to think for a moment to figure out what part it might sound like. However when I hear the name I think of Lavinia and then i think stuck up. I like the name, but I knew a really Bi*ch named Lavinia sorry.

No. I took medical classes in high school and it doesn't sound like any anatomy to me.

It sounds like a shortened version of Olivia which is a common name.

Sorry but IMO it does, like "I have to stop drinking; it is too hard on my Livia."

How about Olivia?
