I'm referring to that drink called vitamin water. I know it has vitamins but I also heard that it has something that gives you energy like most energy drinks have. I'm looking for answers not stupid answers about how if its vitamin water it should be o.k because it has vitamins.

You have no problem drinking vitamin water...My husband is a district salesman for the company and I have repeatedly been informed as to its contents. My toddler lives on it, so I have to know what is in it. In the regular vitamin water there is no additive for energy. They make an energy drink that I would not recommend drinking while nursing. I am currently nursing my 3 month old and have been drinking most of their products for the last three years. As far as sugars, they are natural not artificial, so that = better. The added vitamins are so minimal that you should not be concerned, your body will only use what is needed and dispose the unwanted or needed.

Vitamin and energy drinks are good in theory, but most of them contain a lot of sugar and caffeine to give that "energy boost."

Just check the label and see if there are high levels of caffeine or sugar in the drink.
