Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 November 2007

Im 18 years old and im 11 weeks pregnant. Ive made the doctor (abortion) appointment already but now I dont think I wanna go threw with it. I dont have a job to support the baby the father does and he still in my life supporting what ever my decision is. Im still living with my mother and she doesnt know. I dont know how she will react to it. I cry alot because im upset it my fault for getting in the situation anyway but I would rather not go threw with killing apart of me. It makes me sick.

There fore I dont know what to do keep my baby and hope for the best. Or abort it and regret it. Im not working because I plan to start school in January.
HELP IM SO CONFUSED!

My 8 month old daughter woke up this morning with a croup cough and a raspy voice. She has had a runny nose for a few days, but the doctor said it was from her flu shot she recieved about a week ago. She is very irratable and cries mamama and wont even eat an entire bottle. Well I called the doctor today and she was out of town for the holiday, but another doctor told me to just let it ride and it'll go away soon enough. But she is miserable. I gave her tylenol for her fever, I fed her applesause to soothe the sore throat I imagine she has and I rubbed vapor rub on her back this morning and just recently I did also. I don't know what else to do for her. She can't sleep. The tylenol and applesause didn't help. I feel terrible and I just want to make her feel better. Any ideas that have worked for you? Please Help.

Back in the day, it was "children are to be seen not heard" and nowadays it is like the children feel like they are their parents peers. What gives? Is this a positive thing or a negative thing?

IF you have kids, do you fill either view point? Which one? Are you happy with that? Why or Why not? If not, how do you change the parent child dynamic?

my dad had me young, really young (14) and i wasnt named for like 3months because my mother left when i was 1 month, so my dad didnt no what to name me, and when he was really drunk on night he made up the name keiyotiey. what do you think of the name? im 15 now, and hardly anyone can ever spell my name, because of the I befor E except after C rule, when mine is Keiyotiey. and no one can ever say it right, unless i tell them. where australia by the way.

I am looking for some baby names that are uncommon, I like a lot of "gothic" names, and I am just looking for some names that maybe I have not herd of, or over looked in my searches. We're having another girl! I need name help. I like names that aren't too weird (Names like Peaches Honeyblossom are too much.) My other girl's name is Bethany Autumn...it's unusual but easy on the ears. So, if we could keep with that general trend, that'd be great. Any ideas? I know I just asked a question, but here's another one my symptoms that Id like to know if anyone has experienced. I think that I MIGHT be pregnant, but not completely sure. Anywho, Ive been soooo nauseous lately, but I'd be starving at the same time. Usually when Im nauseous, I cant even think about food. My daughter recently started school and for the first 2 days she loved it. But now she hates going and it's really hard for me to leave her there crying. I stayed with her couple of times till she felt comfortable and saw that she was having hard time communicating with kids her age. Other kids her age would talk in complete sentences and my daughter would talk gibberish with words she knows. I guess that's why other kids lose interest in her because they have no clue what she's saying and walks away. I felt so bad. She knows a lot of words. At home, she's constantly talking, but not all with words we can understand. What can I do to help her speak so she can communicate well with others?

On october 11th me and my bf had sex and then the condom broke..we went and got the plan b pill the next day and i took the first one around 1 pm and the 2nd around 1 am. . I didnt have any bad side effects or anything which is good. But it says your suppose to get your period like a week or 2 after taking it and after a week i got what i thought was my period but it was alot lighter and it stopped some after a few days then started a lil again..it also was a brown color sometimes too? this lasted for like 5 dayss..idk if this is normal or what this means or if this was my period? or maybe i could be getting my period soon and just having spotting? im really worried :[
