I do not agree with any of the people who are telling you to change your name. Yes, it's very unique, and I wouldn't use a name like this myself, but you're 15 years old. This is your name. As for the type of person it signifies. Since you are probably the only person in the world with this name, it's really you (the person) who will identify the traits of someone with this name, not the other way around. Also, I usually don't think badly of a person with an unusual name just because of their name. I may have interesting thoughts about their parents, but kids usually don't pick their own, you know.

This is a tough name. Not only is the spelling less than phonetic, it's unusual. It's not something I, personally, would name my daughter. But you know what? It doesn't matter what kind of teenager the name suits or what someone might picture. The fact is that this is your name. It's hard enough being young, not to mention trying to adapt yourself to "fit" a name. Just be yourself. That can be hard enough.
If you are true to yourself, and be your own person, people will get past a name. To quote Shakespeare, "What's in a name?" Be your own person, and people will think of you as strong/smart/talented/caring/whatever . . . Make your name live up to YOU!
Best Wishes

It makes me think of coyotes (the desert animals that eat dead carcasses and howl at night). No offense but this is why unwed teenagers should not have kids and then name them while intoxicated. It was very thoughtless of your mother to run off and for your father to be so haphazard in naming you. I think it might be in your best interest to pick a more respectable name that you like. People with made-up names are always stereotyped as being uneducated and poor and it will be really hard for you in terms of job interviews and such. Keiyotiey doesn't make me think of anything because it barely constitutes a name. You deserve to have a name that shows who you really are.

It's so different (even if it were spelled Coyote) that it's hard to have a pre-set picture of a person (even knowing if the person is a girl or guy). But if I had to guess, I'd say they were free spirited and unique, and possibly very athletic (skier or snowboarder or surfer type)

I'm sorry to hear about your life, but I honestly think it's kind of cool, I would change the spelling legally when you get older, but I would keep the name. In mythologies Coyote was a shapeshifter, a trickster, who sometimes done evil, but often times his pranks backfired and he down good for men.
As for your name sounding like it was given to you by pothead parents, my name in full is Amethyst Gailyn Blackstone, and my parents were not hippies. My mom named me and she dosen't even drink to this day.
It's original and different and marks you as an individual.
As for how I would picture you is sad and forlone at times, but full of life. Someone who loves fun and does good things even though she dosen't realize it. Keep the name, honey. No name truely ages well unless its some classic and ordinary. You would be the old lady I would WANT to know.
Besides my 5 year olds middle name is Alein. I had to do something to drive her english teacher nuts when she gets older, and tick off my mom even though I'm a little old to be doing that! *lol*

I really dislike it. Misspelled nature names make me think of my pothead landlord. His sons are Jaspyr and Rocq. They also make me think of hippies, and free spirited artsy snowboarders.
I think you should think about changing it to something in the same flavor, but simpler, like Cayenne. It's a spice, so it's the same sort of hippy idea, but it's spelled right and easier to say. Plus, it's not a scavenger canine.

I think the spelling is terrible, Sorry. I see a backwoods kid with no shoes and missing teeth. It has a mountain hillbilly feel to it. Hopefully you don't take offense to that, You did ask our opinions.

i think you should have it changed and spelled kieyote or something more simple. you still have the same name, just spelled different. personally i dont like it just because of the debate of how to spell and pernounce it.
