At this point her Christmas is for you--you'll want the cute pictures but other then that? Nothing.
My advice? Get her something that she will use in the future--an exercise saucer, for example. If it's been something you've wanted to buy for her or know you'll need for her in the future, get it for her.
If I recall, we bought our son his potty for Christmas when he was 3 months. Now that's he's 2 and potty training, it's great.

I would get her something for her to use later on. or something that you need for her that actually might be for you as well. They are to little to know at that age what they are getting. My baby was born the first of december so she wasn't even month old on her first christmas. I bought things that she needed (or that I needed for her). Like sleepers maybe some bottles if I didn't have enough, some diapers (always need those). You could also get some bath tub toys or teething toys since she will be doing that soon. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Clothes are the best thing to give a four month old. If you live in cold area. A coat or blankets are always a good gift. If you are looking for toys or accessories, you might want to go with a infant swing, crib toys, or other age apropriate toys that can be found in the website provided. Good luck and happy holidays!

Babies are really difficult to buy for at this age because they don't really play with anything yet. There's always clothes, can't have enough of them. My son was 5 mos old last Christmas and I bought toys that he would grow into and use later on. You should go ahead and get a walker that they push and walk behind to be prepared. I got my son a water play toy that layed on the floor and he could lay on his tummy and play with, he seemed to enjoy that. I also put bitter biscuits and pacifiers in his stocking along with other finger foods that he was learning to eat at the time.

My baby girl will only be a couple of weeks by the time Christmas gets here, so we are just going for sentimental gifts like a silver jewelry box with her name inscribed on it. To fill it for the first time it will be a baby bracelet, also with her name on it. Toys and such will come later on as she grows into them, plus I've already gotten all those things at her baby shower.

We're giving our son his crib bedding... he will be 3.5 months old.. we're also giving him tons of clothes and other things.. of course, he won't fully get to enjoy opening his gifts until next Christmas... it's still so much fun!!
Is the baby yours or someone elses? If its yours, you can get almost anything.. if someone elses.. clothing, shoes, infant toys or anything is nice.

i started to buy my little guy rattles for his stocking. he will be 5 months so i also got toys for when he is 6 months. he is a bit ahead for his age so i am not really worried.
see what your little one does. if she likes to grab things, then get things to pick up or play with. a crib toy like the ocean wonder fish is a good idea also.

Little toys, soft stuffed animals, and BOXES...lol. Maybe those little plastic ones that they can stack and unstack. They might not be able to stack them yet, but they are obsessed with boxes the first couple of Christmases.
