Well, I couldn't do my homework within my time limits (I have after school activities) and my mom's payday is tomorrow. I can't go to the mall often (once every 4 months?) even though I live 15+ minutes away. Tomorrow's my school dance, and I need to get new jeans for it. If I don't, I'm screwed over. How can I convince my mom to take me to the mall?

Knock out some quick chores that she didn't ask you to do, take your homework with you in the car, and if she does take you, keep doing these things so you build up some atta-boy points with her. You can also tell her there's a girl you really like and you want to buy new jeans because you want to impress her. Some moms are pushovers for that sort of thing.

Do your homework on time and save up your money. Help your mom around the house so she feels like taking you to the mall and buying you stuff.

tell your mom that you have to get something for school. and then just tell her you want some pants once your at the mall.
Or get a friend to drive you and ask for some money, unless your moms a B**** she shouldnt care.

ask her and give her good reasons to why she should take you..do some chores and finish your homework..and if she still says no then DON't ask her to take you. get a ride from a friend or something :o) hope you get your new outfit and have fun @the dance!..xoxoxox

a very interesting situation.
essentially, you are going to have to make it worth her while if this is not something she is wanting to do already. maybe you can offer to do some extra service for the family/household in exchange for the new jeans.....
