You can feel the top of your uterus several inches below your belly button at 14 weeks. For me it was easier to stand up and start pressing gently from my belly button down until I felt it. Not all women can do this though. My friend tried and tried and could never feel it, but she was a little overweight, so that may have played a factor in it. I'm 20 weeks now and I can feel the top of my uterus just above my belly button. At your next doctors visit ask your doctor to show you where it is. My doctor did that during my first preganncy and that's how I knew what I was feeling.

Well I am 18 weeks, and I just recently started feeling my uterus. At about 14 weeks, I felt like my lower abdomen was slightly firmer than usual (especially in the morning), but other than that at 14 weeks it can be hard to feel the difference.
Its definitely not rock hard, and there will be some give. The best way to feel your uterus is when you lie on your back.
Hope my answer helps and best of luck in your pregnancy!

I felt it much sooner, because I am so small so to speak. I'm 5'1 120, but my uterus was always higher than the Dr expected. I'm 18 weeks with #2, and have an 8 year old. You just have to learn what it feels like, sometimes its harder than others. It's pretty hard, but be careful not to press too hard trying to find it. If you can't find it, next time you go to your Dr. ask him to show you where it is, and how to feel it.

At fourteen weeks you should feel it to some extent. It is not rock hard yet because that comes later in pregnancy. It has some give to it, I think of it as a bubble. Everyone is differnt though so some people feel it and know its there and for others it may not even cross their mind. I felt it early but then again I am 5'0 95 lbs w/o baby 108 w/ baby (so far)

Yes, I felt mine at that point. No, it is not rock hard. It is firm. You may start to experience slight aches in that area as your uterus expands, too. I also felt some movement around 15 weeks, believe it or not. I am pretty petite, so that is why I think I was so lucky. ;-) Congrats!

hiya! i understand i'm super extensive now too and that i'm only 18 weeks. at 20 weeks the right of the uterus is at abdomen button point, so at 14 weeks its approximately halfway between pubic bone and abdomen button. interior the previous days they measured the child this variety- after 20 weeks you are able to degree growth with the aid of the edge of your finger, each and every finger width above your abdomen button is two extra weeks!!
