ok, I am 5 days late today, on 17dpo I test with a cheap $1.00 test, it came out neg, anyone no how accurate those $1.00 testes are?
And did anyone ever took a hpt and it came out (-) then a week late came out (+)
Because I really do feel pregnant, I mean every morning around the same time I have a headache, I have lite cramps and no signs of af, have some cravings etc

I think all women are different. I know people that have taken them and be pregnant and it not show. I also know women that it worked on. Go to the doctor or get a better test and see. Good luck

Dollar tests are just as good as the expensive ones. I took them every month for 18 months, always getting negatives. BUT, on Halloween, I got a faint positive line so I took two more dollar tests and those were even darker lines. Don't waste your money on the expensive ones. I took the tests a couple of days before AF should have started so they are reliable!

My friend took the dollar test and it came out positive! So it worked! maybe you have to wait because sometimes many women get a negative rather than a positive because their pregnant hormones were too little in the urine to show up on the test! try again in a couple of days! Good luck!

i have the same problem. i am 8 days late today and i took a cheap $1 test yesterday and it was negative. but i am having about the same symptoms, headaches everyday, dry throat, gas, and no sign of af. i have a doc appt. of friday anyway so i guess ill get the real results there.

I have used the cheap dollar store tests and the expensive early result tests, and to me they both work the same.

you know...i took one of those, and it was right on the money with my pregnancy...THEN...my boyfriend, now husband, told me to take another one so he could see, and it was a First Response. You could BARELY see the 2nd line, it was SO light you had to look twice.
im 6 months pregnant

They are pretty accurate hon.They always work for me.As a matter of fact I prefer them.And they pick up on 25mI IU/mL they are very sensitive.

I took a $1 pregnancy test a week before I ever missed my period.. and it came out positive. So.. as far as me.. it definitely worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
