what does your kids christmas stocking look like? my 9 yr old daughter has a yellow lab with his paws sticking in the front of the stocking and my 21 month old son does not have a stocking yet...i am waiting til he is older so he can pick one out for himself

Mine was handmade by a friend of my grandparents. It's sort of a tradition in our family to have one of these stockings made for them.
Mine is red with my name written at the top. It has Mrs. Claus on it. It was cute growing up because my only sibling, my brother, had Santa on his. My husband has the same name as my brother so we just use my brother's stocking twice on Christmas day!

my eldest usually use the one that he created when he was 2 years old. it's just a white stocking that he painted in abstract colors. so, it always caught the attention of everyone because it's really different from the usual red and white or red and green. everybody loves it so much. now, he's 6, and he still wants to use the same stocking, doesn't want to change or at least create a new one.
with my youngest, who's only 2, have no stockings yet, because he's not as advanced as his big brother. he's the baby for the whole family. i think, i'll just have one for him that will have his picture printed on it.

My children makes their X-mas stocking at school, also I do buy them their own personalize stocking with name on it .You have a 21 month old son he can only point out certain things and say certain words. Let him just pick out his own X-mas stocking wit h this parents help.

My sons just got the ones we had from when I was a kid. One is just plain red with white trim at the top. The other has a pic of Santa with a bag of toys. They could never decide who wanted what the plain was bigger but the other had Santa. lol

I don't give mine a stocking. We do a treasure hunt for the pressies instead. I get an extra hour in bed. I leave clues with each pressie.

We have two red velvet stockings and two green velvet stockings. Which we will have embroidered with our names as soon as #2 is born next year.
