my youngest daughter is 5 years old. she's in kindergarden. she thinks she's in charge. i've tryed so many times to get her to listen to me but she's very determined to do it her way. she'll ask for something (a snack ) and i'll say no ( dinner's in 30 min. ) and she'll keep asking over and over again. she won't do what we say. we've tryed everything. just the other day she frustrated me so much i cryed. her older sister didn't do this. what can i do to get her to mind me without such a big battle of wills?

My baby is 6 months old and just got over an ear infection. Her ear that was infected looks great now, but the other has fluid in it. Our pedi said it isn't an infection. She is keeping a watch on it, but what exactly does this mean and is this something that we may need to get tubes for later? Fluid in the ear can cause some hearing loss and is something we need to watch, correct?

I have taken one cycle of it and i am not pregnant and some people told me that it can take up to 3. I really want it to happen natural and i dont want to pressure my self. Like i told the doctors i don't belive that anything is majorly wrong with me because i would just know it in my heart. I want a baby but i think that we are just trying to hard. I have come to one decision and that is when my husband wants to do deny him just do it and dont put my self on a schedule. I took birth control for 6 years i belive that it is still getting out of my system because my periods are so irregulare. Like last month when i did the provera i had my period and then had another one on the 31st. If your levels are low then how can they tell if you ovulated if you are on your period. What should i do?

She doesn't wake up crying, but is just awake. I try to let her go and see if she goes back to sleep, but sometimes when I walk in, she has her head up and is WIDE AWAKE. If I let her go after she sees me, she will wimper around and start to cry. I will not do the cry it out method, as I'm opposed to that at this young of age, and I've never had to even worry about her waking up crying because she just doesn't. Is there a hint you might have to help her sleep longer? Am I putting her to bed too early? She seems to be sleepy around 7-8 ish. If I waited longer, she's fussy. Is this just a stage? I done a home pregnancy test 4 wks ago, it came back positive. This would mean that I am in my 7th week. I have an appointment scheduled next week to confirm. However, yesterday, I experienced a gush of bright red blood three times throughout the day. I also had some abdominal cramping similar to period cramping last night. I did not pass any signs of tissue or blood clots.

Im 5 weeks pregnant and beginning to feel very emotional and tired, along with all other symptoms. I've been told i should not lift anything heavy or exert myself too much during this period and rest when i need to. However, Im sure my partner thinks Im im playing on this a bit and exagerating it. as a consequence i'm feeling guilty and still trying to do all the things I did before. He is a very loving partner in all other ways but how can I make him understand I need a bit more help?

i am trying to concieve baby number 2, and i am using the ovulation predictors but so far i have not ovulated, it id now day 18 of my cycle so i am assuning i am not going to ovulate, is this normal i suffer from endometriosis. my cycle varied from 27-32 days do i still have a chance to ovulate this month ? any help is appriciated

What diapers do you use at night to avoid leaks? I seem to be having a problem with this. Is there a diaper cover that you've found works really well, or a diaper that works well overnight or a combination of things? I would really appreciate any helpful answers!!!

I'm just so unhappy because I feel so incomplete. I went to bed crying and woke up crying aswell. I know that's not normal for a 15 year old is it? I have problems [like my hands shake alot wen I'm nervous or something like that] and I try to talk to my mom about them, she always shuns them away as if by doing that can magically make them dissapear. I want help, but she won't let me get it. I can't talk to my dad, he's too old to understand anything now. Both my older sisters are getting to become like my mom, and I have no close 'mentor' like friends that can help me out like that. The only person I can talk to is God. And I pray and pray, and I'm not saying I'm impatient.....And there's there's a guy who I've liked since 8th grade and I don't know why cuz he's brought me so much more pain than happiness. I pray about that too. But I don't wanna be on Y.A.'s my whole life asking for help...how do I get it? I know I need it.

OK.. heres the story...my husband and I are trying to have another child...we havent been protecting against it at all..after I had our first daughter we started having sex again about a month after..so for at least 17 months we have been trying..we both went to the doctor, he's fine, i'm fine..and still nothing. The doc was going to put me on Clomid but I didnt want to so she reccommined the book " Taking Charge of Your Fertility." I just bought the book last night and was wanting to know if anyone had concieved by using the methods in this book and please tell me your story....And people no people say just relax and it will happen...yes I know I'm just curious! I just had a bladder infection and was taking medicine for that when I took the test......and it came back negative .....BUT I have a back ache , been having nausea after eatting or waitng to eat, crying extra easy, breast are getting more tender by the day, cramps and gassy feeling, and my last period looked like old (brown - light red ) blood......OPPINIONS PLEASE!

could I be pregnant? I went off the pill about a month ago, but I use condoms every time and they have never broke on me. Anyways I am about 2 and a half weeks late. could this be a reaction to the pills? Ive taken 2 pregnancy tests and they both say that Im not pregnant.

A close friend of the family, who is 16, came by my office yesterday in tears because my step-son started a rumor at school that day that they had sex. (No, it isn't true.) Of course I made him apologize to her, but obviously, damage has been done. I'm also a little ticked at his whole attitute - "It was out of my control" and "It was out of my hands". He really isn't taking responsibility for his actions. I have an idea to have him apologize and tell the class where he started the rumor that it isn't true, etc. My thinking is that it will embarass him as he did to her. What do you think?

My husband does not want more children. I am now pregnant, I took 2 tests, both positive. I am affraid to tell him, fearing that he is going to be upset. I know he is happy where we are, and with all the expenses we've aquired he'll be stressed.
How should I tell him.?
I was thinking just telling him my period is late and seeing where he stands, and after we purchase the test together, he'll be more comferted and not so angry if he knows I didn't keep this a secret.
I caculated my due date, it is on his birthday. Maybe I should teel him that way. I dont know.

Im 13 weeks pregnant with my first child... Im 26 years old and am absolutely terrified at the thought of giving birth.... i dont handle pain well (even period pain makes me vomit and cry).... Im losing sleep at night worrying about this. Is there any way to go through labour without feeling pain?... Id take any drugs offered!
