My dad is a twin, my gran on my mums side is a twin and my great great grandad on my dads side was a twin? Would I be more likely to have twins?

has many things that are affecting his sleep,but want to help him get better rest.Has a new baby brother(3mos old-he sleeps great, toddler usually wakes him up),they have seperate bedrooms.Top molars have broken through, might be getting bottom ones (give him Tylenol).Might be having nightmares.No longer naps, but he does have alone time. I put him to bed between 6 and 7 after bath, books, a sippy cup of milk (which I'd like to stop if you have any suggestions on that too), prayers, then hugs and kisses.Room is darkened (right now with blankets, I have to get the room darkening shades).Wakes up a few times through the night then gets up for good between 5 and 6 am.Has a gate on his room, so most of the time he plays nice for an hour of so.Have tried putting him to bed later, but still wakes up too early and becomes overtired.His diet is pretty well rounded plus he gets a multivitamin.Not yet potty trained (just not ready).Watches some tv during the day. just looking for any suggestion

If you had the pwer and jurisdiction to impale...*woops* I meant, inprision, parents who do not follow your style or beleifs in parenting, would you do it? Namely, issues like spanking kids, getting the childs ears pierced, not breastfeeding, and not holding baby all day long.

Then, if you would throw these parents in jail based on these offenses, how long would their sentences be? What would you do with their kids? Would you set up an attachment parenting refugee camp for these kids, adopt some youselves, or what?

My 7month old daugther was in the bed with us from about 4:30 this morning until six. My husband woke up and shook her and she didn't move. He panicked and grabbed he and shook her and she didn't rouse then either. He was about to perform CPR when she woke up.

Is this normal? Could it be sleep apnea? I'm not letting her sleep with us anymore because i'm too scared but I don't know if I should make a doctor's appointment.

My son use to be a loving little boy and very affectinate. I Love him so much. Now that he is 12 he is pulling away and I feel he doesnt' need me as much. Is this common? How do u deal with this?

My daughter is 14 months old, she says mom, dada, and nana for my mother. She does alot of talking but they aren't actual words yet. The other day she was watching Dora the explorer, and boots said say backpack, and she tried to say it..mind you it came out like bad ba..lol

I am going to start babysitting my friends 6 week old baby I am trying to find out how much to charge. Do you think 25.00 a day for a 12 hour day which is 125.00 for a 5 day week which is 500.00 a month which is 250.00 a payday. Week ends are extra ( they are in the navy and work everother weekend) and overnights are extra (agian in the navy and sometimes have to work overnight) anyway do you think those prices are reasonable? Or no? I mean I dont want to charge too much becauce we could use the money and I know they dont have a lot to spend. I called one place and its like 1900 a month for a 6 week old baby and other place was 600 a month.

My first trimester I was always hungry and if I didn't eat I would throw up. I had to eat ever 2 hours. Luckly it stopped by my 13th week. Now I am 5 1/2 months and its back again. This morning I ate at 3am, at 7:30am, 9:30 and now its 11am and I just ate vegetable soup and I am still hungry. It hurts if I don't eat when I am hungry. I tried drinking extra fluids, eating high fiber foods, lots of protein and nothing seems to be working.

Does anyone else have this problem? Or remember having this problem?

**I gained 9 pounds so far in my pregnancy...(for those who will make smart remarks)

We've tried to have a baby for 4 years, and was so excited when we finally got pregnant. She's here, healthy and beautiful. She is almost 4 weeks old, and since this is our first it is a little difficult learning how to take care of her. So far so good there...what we didn't expect was feeling somewhat detached from her. We love her and are happy we've been blessed with her, but we are looking for that bond.

sunday i thought i was going to get my period and i bled for a few hours but i diddnt get it , the bleeding stopped and i am worried, im not due to get my period untill next sunday , but i had sex with my bf last saturday . We used a condom, the sponge, and the withdrawl methods. Could i be pregnant ,or is it somthing else? ??? im only 16 and i need somthing to set my mind to rest. it wasnt our first time. my oldest daughter is 8 years old and she is in 3rd grade. in first grade she did everything she could to get into trouble at school. ignoring the teacher, throwing away her homework instead of turning it in, taking 3 hours to do her homework and i know she doesn't have that much, deliberately acting as though she doesn't learn anything at school yet she has shown us she can do her homework but she liked to play around and do it wrong. she even got suspended.

well in second grade she did good. good grades, no detention.

it's 4 weeks into the 3rd grade and she's already starting down the same path she took in 1st grade except she's not detting detention (yet) she's a very smart girl. we've seen what she can do. but for some reason absolutly does not want to do her home right and she has shown us that she can. what can we do? we've punished, we've offered rewards. we told her we'd give her money if she can bring home all A's (we know she can....she did it before)

My son will be staring Pre-K next year (fall of 07). Does anyone know where I would go to find out what schools in my area offer Pre-K?
