Yes. The "abortion" commonly known as RU486 is the only effective pill to end unwanted pregnancy after 48 hours. It's called Mifiprex. It can be taken up to 63 days from your first day of your last period. It is 92-95% effective. Some studies show that it can be harmful to younger women (teenagers) than to females in their 20's and 30's. Call an abortion clinic in your area to speak with someone about it. Be careful of your decision and just remember that you have MANY options even if you think you don't. It also depends on your situation. When I was 15, I was raped and didn't realize I was pregnant until after the 48 hour period. I was scared to death that people would condemn me if I had an abortion. It's not true. Most people are widely accepting of your decisions depending on the circumstance. The only reason you have people calling you a killer and everything on here is because they will never meet you or understand your situation unless it happens to them. It's easy to call someone you don't know a killer. Good luck and remember you always have a choice.

Is there any way for a child to remove an unwanted parent after 1 month of development?

I think that should be the real question.

Yeah, all these so-called intelligent people on here ragging you about this were probably all smart enough to vote for George Bush, too. Take your agenda somewhere else! Keeping a baby, whether to put up for adoption or not...is an intensely personal decision. And that is NOT the question that she is asking, you judgmental a--holes.

Be careful. See a doctor about this. Don't try anything yourself or you could hurt yourself. The morning after pill is not for a one month pregnancy. And next time, do be more responsible and use birth control. I'm not preaching, just saying....

Good luck!

There actually is a pill where you go to a abortion clinic and they do some tests and they have this pill where you take at home (well there) but it terminates the pregnancy like a miscarriage at home. I had to do a report on abortions and/or other options. Really think about what your doing though it's like giving your baby and YES your baby a bottle of pills cuz basically that's all you really are doing!!!!

confident, this replaced into my first sign of being pregnant too...and it rather is quite distinctive from a urinary tract an infection, which I used to get chronically. while you're pregnant (have you ever carried out a house attempt yet?), you would be peeing frequently and lots, fairly at nighttime. in case you have a UTI, you will get the urge to pee yet no longer something or little will come out and it will burn. accepted urination in early being pregnant is trouble-free and it rather is not with the aid of fact the newborn is pushing on your bladded (this is 0.33 trimester). this is as a results of the upward push in blood circulate for the time of your physique which motives you to technique extra drinks. you additionally can finally end up thirsty extra frequently. yet another reason may be with the aid of hormonal surges in early being pregnant. stable luck!

so many people on here are quick to judge. It wasn't even mentioned if the arthor is male or female. They are not wanting your opinion, but an actual answer to the question. Abortion may be wrong, but so is prejudging a person. You dont make decisions for other people and what they do really doesnt affect you personally, its not like they made you get an abortion or take the actual pills to rid you of pregnancy.

So to answer your question, :). yes, but you need to call your doctor to get the rx asap. Some dr. wont write them and some pharmacys wont fill them. Do your research.

Yes there is. You have to contact a womans center, it is expensive, a few more hundred dollars then the actual surgical procedure, but it is not a one day thing from what I understand, and if it doesn't terminate the pregnancy, then you will have to pay for the procedure, and the outcome of you carrying a healthy pregnancy and normal baby, if it doesnt take is very poor, then you'll have more office fees, because you will require more tests, ultrasounds, blood work, etc. These medications are very powerful and can kill you, as a result of a bad reaction. IMO you are better off getting the procedure. God bless you!

Well, lets see...you could go ahead and overdose on some kind of pain killer I suppose and that would just take care of both of you...

There's a reason they have the morning after pill, ya know. So that you can use it THE MORNING AFTER and not wait until its too late and more drastic or murderous steps have to be taken.

Something my friend was told when she got pregnant and was considering abortion "You'll never regret having that baby but will you regret having an abortion?"

Birth Control Pills. Years ago I had just had a baby boy. After the 6 week period I had sex again and missed my period. But I was taking the birth control pills and couldn't understand why or how I got pregnant while taking them. Oh well I went to the bathroom and it fell out in the toilet. I was very young at the time and the only one I told about it was the father. I felt bad but I didn't feel that it was my fault because I didn't know that it would happen.

I have heard of a "Medical Abortion" where they give you a pill to cause the miscarriage. I believe it can only be done in pregnancies under 7 weeks, so if that is what you choose, you would need to look into it ASAP.

Good Luck.
