Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 September 2006

Okay, I know yesterday I asked about the mucus plug... I had lost some of it that morning & it was yellowish/brown. Well last night I felt horrible, had some cramping, felt like I had the flu, and then this morning I had MORE goop, but this time it started out with some dark brown in it then had definitel pinkish/red blood in it. Is this the same as the plug or is it my "show"??? And does this mean I will be laboring soon?

When i was pregnant i went right off sex, for the past three years since having my son i only wanted it about once a month (my husband was gutted!!!). We have been trying for a baby for the past few months and it feels like he's flipped a switch in me!!! I have been demanding sex every night when i'm at my most fertile, and we must be doing it every other night on the days that i'm not. I (and he!) can't understand or believe the change in me.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Is it just a phase - will i go off sex again if i fall pregnant?

Is it normal??

my daughter has facial hair....she is getting regular medication because apparently she has a problem with her hormones production....almost everyone she knows makes fun of her and she gets really distressed....its happened a lot of times and i dont know how to comfort her....i tell her looks dont matter but to her they do....she's in her teens in high school.

Since week 18 I have felt kicking, the past week it has been stronger than ever! Everytime I lie down I have been able to feel it, and my stomach will sometimes lift about an inch. The other day I went to see the pope, stayed up all night and walked for miles. Since I got back around four I havent felt a thing. Its already 1pm and I'm still not feeling a thing. Could it have been my own exhaustion thats causing this? I just don't understand how it could be so consitant and then stop all of the sudden. How much longer should I wait before going to the doctor?

I was 20 days late for my period and I thought the other day id come on, but I bled for 1 day and used 1 sanitary towel, it was light and very unusual to have just 1 day bleed.
Could this mean I may be pregnant?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. I'm 19 and would to have a baby. We have been having uprotected sex for about 6 months and still haven't concieved. I had a termination about 2 years ago but results came back that everything was fine with me. Do you think he is infertile and how can i approach the subject to him without him feeling embarassed or pissed off?

Just lately i've become such a lazy *****...I'm 34 with kids at school, i always do the bare minimum of what i need to do.....I've never been a lazy person and i'm not depressed...I've started eating more, doing less and need a good kick start...Exercise has become a chore and i can't be bothered making the effort to go out as i once did...Any more full time mum's feel the same?

My four year old son has very little verbal communication. He has good control of his bowel and bladder since he wakes up dry nearly every morning. I want him out of diapers and going potty on the toilet. He is getting to big for the biggest diapers i can find so somethings gotta give. Only serious answers please.

I'm not too happy with the teacher he has, from the very first day of school. 2-3 weeks later for back to school night she didn't even know that my son spoke english, and not spanish! How is that possible? I don't get it. My son is smart, knows his colors, shapes, alphabet, numbers to 100, writes his name and even knows how to add! He is very energetic and friendly. He will talk to you and ask you questions and wants to know and learn about so much. I do consider him to be advanced compared to other 5 year olds. He's been in preschool since before he was potty trained! He's a sweet kid and I haven't had any discipline issues with him here at home or at his preschool or with any of his previous teachers. Now it seems from what his current teacher told me that he's a horrible child at school, that he talks out loud, doesn't do as he's told, goes around yelling and trying to make other children not pay attention, that he talks back and even kicked the teacher! Can anyone relate to this?

Two days ago I missed my pill, so yesterday I took one early in the morning and one as usual in the evening. I have periods from the age of nine they have always been
regular as clock work. I am 20 years old. I live with my boyfriend, and we are engaged. I have done two pregnancy test myself they both read false, so i went to the doctor. That also said false. my 5 year old son cries at school everyday. he is in a new class and misses the old teachers, students. but he misses me mostly. i gave him a picture of me to carry to class. but he still cries and today the other children were telling me that,'your son always cries". i felt so embarressed. i told my son that i will give him candies and toys if he stops crying. but no use. this has been comtinuing for a month.i have talked to the teacher but with no help. i tell him that i will come for him everyday but he says he misses me , thaTS WHY HE CRIES. please help me.

whilst i was pregnant with my last child i was on zoloft from 3 months since having my daughter i have changed to effexor xr 150mg i have been told by my doctor that effexor is safer then zoloft whilst pregnant can anyone confirm this and is it safe throughout the pregnancy
