Okay, I know yesterday I asked about the mucus plug... I had lost some of it that morning & it was yellowish/brown. Well last night I felt horrible, had some cramping, felt like I had the flu, and then this morning I had MORE goop, but this time it started out with some dark brown in it then had definitel pinkish/red blood in it. Is this the same as the plug or is it my "show"??? And does this mean I will be laboring soon?

It is your show and mine didnt start til i was in the hospital i lost some gradually over days but when it had the pinkish color i was in the hospital and now i have a 2 week old baby laying in my arms now. i would guess you will be in real labor in the next 24 hours. good luck

It is very likely that labor will be starting soon. Goop is a normal occurance at the end of pregnancy. You don't need the ER or anything. You could call the doctor and ask if you should come in.

Sounds like it was your mucus plug and show all at the same time..generally you start to labor within 24 hours of a bloody show!! good luck!

Bloody show and your mucus plug are the same thing. Different names.. It does not necessarily mean labor will start soon only that your cervix is thinning out and preparing it's self. You can walk around for weeks without a mucus plug. If you go to the hospital for it they will just send you home, and probably have a laugh at your expense. Don't freak out just get some rest and save your energy you will need it soon..

sounds like some bloody show to me. i'd call the advice nurse just in case it's more important since you say you felt like you had the flu.

You may be in early labor. Call your doctor and see what they want you to do. They may ask you to come in. Congrats that baby is almost here.
