Nature has a way of taking care of things when the time is right. When you both stop putting so much pressure on each other for it to happen, it will. Have fun!

It could be really frustrating trying for a baby, and it doesnt seem to happen when you want it to.
The best thing to do is to go see your doctor. A few personal words before then as far as I can see:
1.Your girlfriend is having her periods every month- regularly I suppose. That is a good sign that her hormonal rhythm is normal.
2.I get the feeling that you dont have erectile dysfunction issues. That is a good thing in itself.
3.Chances are that you're both normal.
4.Dont get on the route of who is to blame as that could sour your relationship.
5. Even if there's something not quite right, reproductive science is very advanced now and quite a lot can be done with the application of assisted reproductive technology.
I wish you the best, and I hope you do something about this early enough as age is also a factor to be taken into account in couples who want to have a baby.
Cheers.

As hard as it is you really need to go and see a doctor about this. Usually they wont see you unless you have been trying for a specified length of time. Apparently they think that 1 1/2 yrs is reasonable length of time to try and conceive.
It may be that you have a low sperm count and your girlfriend also has a similar factor thats resulting in slow conception. Its definately worth finding out, even if the doctors wont look into any potential problems yet then maybe they can give you some advice/

You need to be checked out first. Though doctor's won't often send you for the test until you've been trying for over a year, you can fib to them - how will they know. You're the easiest person to test first, as it's quote invasive for the woman. You'll provide a sample at a hospital it will be tested for count and motility, and your GP will get the result. Chances are you're just not doing it at the right times though.
It took yonks for me and hubby to get pregnant. You need to be having intercourse once every two/three days, not more often, or your contribution is weakened, not less often or the same applies. If after three months of doing this you're still not pregnant, I'd go to the GPs. It takes 72 days to manufacture decent quality sperm, so eat well, keep healthy and above all, don't lose faith or get too stressed about it. Keep trying!

take it easy and relax it can take longer for some couples you no dont rush it can make it worse she ovulates only once a month and the egg only lasts for 12-24 hours while sprem servivs for 4-5 days so theres only a few days a month she can conceive the best thing to do to increase your chances is get her to understand when she ovulates this is normally 14 days after her period that depends on if she starts her period 28 days or 32 days if she has her period every 32 days then just had a nother few days on her ovualtion day once you no when then have plenty of sex a few days before and after or to increase your chances you can buy ovulating sticks that will tell you when your ovulating but try keep calm good luck

Try to relax. Babies come when you least expect them. ORRR
You could do your reasearch and find out the best times to have sex, have her figure out her ovulation cycle and get yourself a cell phone and pager my friend, always be availble cause you just never know when she's gonna need... you know LOL.
I agree with some of the above answers. If nothing has happened in say a year or more, go have your sperm count checked.. or you could do that anyway to be on the safe side. It couldn't hurt.
Good luck.

hey, dont think that. My friend was told that if nothing had happened after a year, then they could carry out some tests but give it time.
I would say try and be less anxious as that wont help.
mabe try a home ovulation test as apparently women are only able to conceive for about three days of the month.
Good luck guys.

has she been on the pill for a long time before ye started trying - as normally you have to have at least 6 months being off it before you can concieve.
Failing that maybe you should both go and get fertility tested - it may not be good news for one of ye, but at least youll know and can work from there
