we do use condom but i think it is only effective 97% of the time. i rather not take birth control pills since it carries so many side effects.

I stopped taking birth control in August. When I stopped taking it, the pack was not finished. I only took about 5 of them and then I stopped. Once I stopped, my period came on and it lasted for about 6 days, which is normal for me. My period usually lasts for six days. About two to three weeks later, my husbabnd and I made love, without using protection. I didnt think anything of it because I didnt think that I could get pregnant since I had just come off of the pill. So this month, September, I waited impatiently for my period to come on. It finally came on last friday, but it only lasted for three days. Does anyone know why this is? My husband thinks that I am pregnant. We have a one year old together and we decided to wait another year before having another child, that is why I got on the bc. With my last child, my period came on and lasted for 4 days, which made me think that I wasnt pregnant , but I still was. What do you guys think is going on??? Could it be my period trying....

I've taken an early pregnancy test this morning, and I see an extremely faint line very close to the control line on it. I can't tell if i'm seeing a line for a positive or not. I am now 10 days past ovulation.

I have a 5-year-old little boy who has Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning Austism) and it is breaking my heart to have to send him to school every morning. He asks me to stay home EVERY DAY just before he takes the bus, with his eyes watered with tears. I HAVE to make him go because, as you know, kids need to go to school at this age. He used to go for only a couple of hours (at pre-school) and now he stays there the whole day. I didn't want that to happen, I didn't want him to stay in school the entire day, but his teachers, psychologist, social worker, etc., ALL said it is very important to do that. He is in a special classroom with fewer kids and a teacher and a teacher's aid. I don't know what else to do to make it better for my son. I talk to him all the time and explain why he needs to stay in school. But he is clearly having a hard time understanding WHY mommy makes him suffer like this. Because he is really suffering. He absolutely HATES kindergarten! Can anyone help me?

Since my hubby knows I am pregnant , he's been vomoting really bad, nothing seems to help him, he is getting frustrated about it. He can not keep food down. Is this normal? How long will it last for him? I try telling him to stop it , I am the one pregnant here and have no symptoms, but he really try to stop but doesn't work. Please help I don't want this to get more serious.

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and getting so much heartburn, indigestion etc at night that I'm wondering if it makes me sense for me to eat my main meal at lunchtime and just have something snacky and light in the evening.

My partner works nights and is rarely home in the evening so its not as if I'll be missing out on a "family mealtime" or anything (we have no other kids).

Did anyone else find it helped to eat their main meal at lunchtime and just eat lighter food in the evening? I just seem to feel really sick and horrible after eating a meal at night (usually about 7pm) and it keeps me awake with heartburn all night.

I don't eat late at night so thats not an issue. Plus I've finished work so I'm home most of the day, so its not difficult to eat a meal at lunchtime.

My temperature has been 0.4oc higher than normal both yesterday and today. I read that your temp rises just before your period but that period then comes within 24 hours (which it obviously hasn't) Also, my temperature was normal after I ovulated and has only been raised for the last 2 days. Any ideas on my chances of being pregnant?

My daughter will be 13 next month and I would love to get her something special but no matter what I give her it is never good enough or is considered less than what has been given to her 2 year old brother. She is very unappreciative an will only have negative things to say about any gift she gets.
Any ideas for a gift or advice for me to get over this and just accept that this is the way she is?

ok here's my situation. me and my hubby are TTC and we had sex 1 & 2 weeks before and after my period in july. that came on the 13th of july and my next period was supposed to come around the same time in agust. instead it was 9 days late and on the first day i had bad cramps(normal) but it was much lighter than usual(not normal i'm usually very heavy). i never filled up a full pad TMI then it stopped 2 days earlier. i usually last 7 this time it was 5. i have never been on Birth Control so i know its not that i haven't lost any weight so i dont know whats going on this has NEVR happend to me before. Please help me Could i be pregnant????

Who agrees that healthy foods should be fairly priced so everyones child can receive healthy meals ,fresh fruit , veg & fish etc .
Good quality food is pricey ... I know you can get shops own value brand but not all of it is appealing .
Not wanting to be offensive but its the parents with less cash who`s kids diet may be suffering here . . No abusive answers please ...
