Since my hubby knows I am pregnant , he's been vomoting really bad, nothing seems to help him, he is getting frustrated about it. He can not keep food down. Is this normal? How long will it last for him? I try telling him to stop it , I am the one pregnant here and have no symptoms, but he really try to stop but doesn't work. Please help I don't want this to get more serious.

it is called sympathy pains and some men experience it. have him do the same as you would - eat crackers or dry toast before getting out of bed. eat smaller and more frequent meals. lay off spicy or fried foods.
the sick will probably go away, just as yours would. it's sweet that he's that caring

that's funny. well that happens a lot. sometimes guys get all the symptoms and you just have to carry the baby. be happy that you dont have both. it depends how many months you are. if you are 2-3 it should be anytime. but everyone is different and morning sickness can go on for a short time or a really long time.

all human beings is different. some have it-somes by no potential do - yet some are ill the entire being pregnant. As for me, I felt great till approximately 7 weeks pregnant. Then it subsided around week 13 - merely as I went into 2d trimester. i'm now 18 weeks and sense noticeably sturdy. they say the 2d trimester (weeks 13-28) are the main suitable. Tehn on the third trimester you start to sense crappy back - yet this time it's going to be from being drained and feeling great from each and all of the extra weight. Aint being pregnant grand..LOL!

My husband was not quite vommitting, but he had morning sickness (all day) right along with me....it finally passed for him when mine did. Just give him sympathy, you don't know how bad it is till you actually experience it. It is just as bad for him as it can be for you. Also call the doctor so he can be checked out to make sure it isn't something MORE than sympathy pains. And, he can also be treated to stop the vommiting. Good luck, and congrats on having a lil one on the way!

Your husband is fine, this will pass, but for now, enjoy it and tease him every chance you get. He is having sympathy pregnancy pains, and don't be surprised when you go into labor, that he starts feeling contractions too. It actually is very funny to watch men when their wives are preggers. It may also be stress due to the fact that he's not working, and he feels like it's his responsibility to support you, and now your child as well. Just laugh it off, and pick on him about it, because finally a man knows what it feels like to be pregnant!

He can try hard ginger candies or ask his doctor for a script of Phenergan. My son had to do just that because he was the one having all the morning sickness when my daughter in law got pregnant.

My husband did the same thing. It only lasted a couple months. Sympathy pains, they call it. But, it could also be his nerves, if he's nervous/worried about having a baby. Most men get that way, worrying about making enough money or whatnot to provide.

Don't worry it will pass, over excitement could have been giving him the sickness ad instead, getting your sickness, normal though for sweet happy couples.

it might or might not pass...if he has insurance i would have him go to the doc. to get something so he can STOP the vomiting. My hubby's mom had NO SYMPTOMS of being preggo. her husband sure did though!! good luck and tell him "hang in there"
