My cycle is irregular. Sometimes 28 days, sometimes 36. If my cycle is 36 days this time, when should a HPT show a + result? after 28 days or after 36 days? I took a HPT on day 30 and it was + but my blood test showed - ... HELP!

Hypothetical situation: Your house needs to be cleaned. Namely, the kitchen floor. You just finished cleaning some meat and there is some dripping on the floor. Your 9 month old baby is in high gear and wants to toddle and crawl all over the floor by you. She's whining over being in the pen. Does a good parent:

A.) Police up the germy mess and sanitize the floor and let it dry, maybe do some 15 minute quick tidying while you can as well before letting baby out?

B.) Just say the hell with it, let the baby out just because she wants out?

C.) Put off everything that needs to be done to clean the home and just play with the baby?

Alright heres my question. When i conceived my son I took a hpt. and it came up at about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. Now my question is this... Does conceiving a boy or a girl have anything to do with the production of the hcg in your body?!? Do boys produce the hormone faster than girls or does that have nothing to do with it at all??

Just curious... also no ignorant answers its just a curiousity question!!!

My friend told me that she is pregnant and her friend and her cousins are pregnant. She said that both her cousins are having boys and they were barely sick the first few months, but her and her other friend are having girls and they get sick constantly. I don't get really sick, I just have some pains. So could it be a boy?Is there a connection?

I have been trying to have a second child for 2 years now. My first child I had no problem getting pregnant. And I have always been a full figured woman. So whats up now? I started taking Ovulex a month ago, I also have an ovulating chart and according to the chart I was ovulating yesterday, my fiance and I did our thing very early in the morning around fivish(I've heard it helps a lot). What's weird is that I always know when I'm ovulating because I see the clear mucus discharge, well I didn't see it yesterday and haven't seen it yet. Does that mean something?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I all of the sudden felt like the air got thick and had to take deep breaths. I'm pretty light headed right now, I know its from the deep breathing. I'm at work so I dont want to make a scene, i think i might be hyperventalating and I also heard that being pregnant can make it hard to breathe at times. I cant get through to my doctor yet. She has only had one comment made to her once at nursery before the school holidays but I have noticed her being observed by other adults. I don't want to put her through torture but I don't want her picked on at school and feeling very self concious about them. I think she is the cutest thing going and so does her Daddy but we are biased! Has anyone any experience of this and how did it go.

Hypothetical situation: It's time for dinner. The baby is done eating her supper and wants out of the highchair to play. Baby gets put down, and is given a sippy of milk. Now it's time for the big people to have supper. However, baby is whining because she wants someone to play a game with her.

Should the parents A: Leave their supper and go play with the baby, eat at 2100 when the baby goes to sleep?

Or should the parents B: Place baby in the playpen and give her a bunch of toys to enetrtain her while they have supper.

Which of these is the right course of action? Said child is 9 months old, going on 30.

I have been on the pill for 5 years and I have never missed a pill or taken one later than usual. (I also have never been pregnant).

For this past week I have been having pregnancy symptoms and I was wondering if its possible that I am pregnant.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to do but I was wondering what other parents would think about this. I have a day care in my home, it's nap time for the kids at the moment, and I have a family that is constantly late in paying me. I have contracts and payment policies that everyone must sign before I will watch their kids. I have had many conversations with the family about paying late and have made them include a late payement charge in their fees on several occasions. They haven't paid me yet this week and are asking me to hold their check until Thursday. I'm thinking of telling them they cannot bring their child back to the day care until the check is in the bank and has cleared through my account. I'm so tired of this, I don't know what else to do! I would love opinions on this. Thanks everyone.

dont just have to be stuck in the house all day (like te last 2 years) I have said I will get a job to pay for the suv, but he said he would and then when we went looking for one he bitched about how he had to pay for it, "Its my money, I work" was what he said basically. I am a stay home mom and Iam bored to death of staying home all day, I want to do things that dont involve staying inside. He makes around a hundred grand yearly as well. We arent in debt either. I dont think this is fair as he has a new truck and I have to take the bus with a kid and tons of people, a vehicle take 10 minutes to get somewhere...a bus, 30 to 50 minutes. I have decided to take matters into my own hands and cut him off until I see a vehicle that runs in the driveway that isnt his. Am I being fair? Dont forget this has been almost 2 years now, he always promises but never delivers.

Hi I am about 10 weeks along with my second baby. In this time my boobs have got 2 sizes bigger and now I have a small rounded belly that will not go away when I try to hold my belly flat.
I know this sounds a silly questions but I just do not remeber showing so early with my daughter who is now 5. Is this normal?
Also 2 days ago I felt what I think to be the first flutters (no it was not me passing gas) Could I have felt a first flutter so soon or was it just my womb getting bigger?
