OMG!!! Believe me , that feeling is the worst!! I had that while I was pregnant and I thought I was having heart attacks, panic attacks, anxiety--- you get the idea!! well, what I was told is that it is the influx of all the pregnancy hormones and believe its true, I am no longer pregnant and the feeling just went away. I felt that way throughout the pregnancy.. Just TRY to relax, and do some deep breathing and TRY to be as calm as possible. My doctor told me to take Benadryl to make me more relaxed but , sometimes it can make you SLEEPY!! but it doesnt harm the baby :) Good Luck and I really hope you can breathe easier as the days pass.

If you are still at work, there are a few things you can do. Make sure you are breathing deeply from your diaphram. Watch it move up and down. Short, little breaths from your upper chest can make you hyperventilate. Breathe through your nose slowly, out through your mouth. Second, eat something like crackers and cheese or bread or some orange juice. Your blood sugar could be low and that may be why you are feeling lightheaded. Third, ask a coworker for help. Tell them you aren't feeling well, and don't know what to do. They can help monitor you, call your husband, or the doctor if anything goes wrong.

This is completely normal, I myself experianced the same thing. It is the large amount of hormones in your body. One of the things it can do is make the mucas inside your nose a little thicker. Also, try sitting up it will help as well it could be the pressure on your diaphram. I am not a doctor; but I do know what they will tell you. However; if you are noticing that you are going to pass out or you feel tingling; or discoloration of your lips and or fingernails you will need to see a doctor immediatly. If it is just becuase of pressure or a stuffy nose you are fine; mine passed by the middle of my second trimester and reappeared a couple weeks prior to deliver. That was due to the baby growing. Take care and you will be fine.

Just relax and try to breathe normally. As the baby grows, the baby takes more space and prevents you from breathing normally. If you can, lie on your left side. This will allow the blood to circulate around your heart and throughout the body. Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Eat some protein to prevent the light-headed feeling.

You need to sit down and rest, or even better yet, lay down on your left side for awhile. The trouble with breathing usually comes later in pregnancy when the baby is big enough to push on your diaphram and make it hard for you to breath. Keep trying to get through to the doctor and tell your boss that you aren't feeling right. I'm sure he/she would rather you lay down for 15 minutes than pass out.

Trouble breathing usually comes when you're 8 or 9 months pregnant, not 9 weeks. You may have asthma. Please talk to your doctor about it. It's not normal.
Don't worry about causing a scene at work. Tell your supervisor you aren't feeling well and go home. You don't have to explain why. There may be something at work you're having a reaction to, like someone wearing a perfume you're sensitive to, or chemicals in your work environment.
Being pregnant does change your sensitivity to things. I used to get sick smelling ham or anything smoky. Good luck!

Relax...keep taking good slow breaths. Stick your head between your knees. Slowly sip water. See your doctor asap. If you get really concerned...have someone drive you to the ER.
Usually it gets harder to breath later in pregnancy, when baby is taking up too much space. Good luck sweetie.

just take slow breaths , i know it is hard to slow down and take slow ones but it really does work. and as soon as you can get to your doctor you should. he or she might be able to prescribe you a inhalor to help. i had trouble breathing when i was pregnant with my son and the inhalor really did help! and yes it is not uncommon to feel like the air is thick when you are pregnant. so good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!!!

First of all, check with your OB. The hormone surges, the blood moving at least twice the normal speed, the thoughts whirling through your brain, the excitement, etc...is all contributing. Take it easy and slow down. Good Luck!

mostly the trouble breathing is later in your pregnancy. Just take a few min. to breath normally and you should feel better. Getting yourself upset willnot help you greath easier.
