I'm 4'11" & I weigh 92lbs, I'm in my early 30's & my boyfriend & I are ready for a baby, well we want one, no one is ever ready for a baby. Anyway, do y'all think I'm too small to conceive? It's very hard for me to gain weight & I've had checkups done (lab test) & everything is fine with me, the dr. tells me I'm perfectly healthy. My menstrual cycle is normal, every 28-30 days.

I'm 16 wks prenant and up until a month ago everything was great! All of the sudden I cry over every little thing, I feel totally alone, and some days I don't even want to get out of bed. I'm suspicious of everything my husband does, my daughter drives me up the wall and most days I can't even eat! I feel like I'm going CRAZY!!! Is this just my hormones or am I really losing my mind? Has anyone ever heard of pregnancy related depression?

If you are going to be mean, please just skip this one ok. I feel crappy enough! Thank you in advance!

Are parents able to FORCE their minor children to have abortions? Like if the kid doesn't want one? I'm asking because my brother's girlfriend's mom convinced her that she has to get one and she was scheduled for one at 9AM. Today. My brother REALLY wants the baby to be born, put up for adoption, AT LEAST, but Nikki said that she will not have her child put up for adoption because she was molested and abused as a foster child.. Nikki wanted the baby but her stepmom is a total bitchh..

We live in Florida.

We (husband and I) plan to start trying for a baby immediately after I quit taking the pill.

I have heard the hormones take a few months to leave your system after taking it for a long time.

Is this true? If so, will it hurt anyone if I got pregnant right away?

I thought the hormones leave your body ASAP and that's why women can get pregnant if they miss a pill.

Hi! Okay, here goes: My period is due tomorrow. I couldn't wait any longer to test so I took a home pregnancy test this afternoon. Within two minutes there was one dark line (the control) and a very, very faint line in the test window. Could this be a positive test? Hubby and I had sex on day 13 and 14 of my cycle and now I have been having cramps like I'm going to start my period. Is the test negative and I will start my period tomorrow? Or could this be a positive test. TTC so I'm pretty impatient! Thanks!

have a three year old son he has been living with my parents for last 2 years but they retiered and moved to costa rica few months ago . i live close to my college campus my parents pay for college and books/ rent sometimes still but i live next door to a frat house and live with three guy friends and work. the partys offten make noise and sometimes the party is in my apartment. i dont party with them but my son dylan seems to be finding it hard to adapt.

if your mucus plug starts coming out a little bit at a time how long does it take on average from when you notice the snotty mucus until the bloody core part comes out too?? and how long from then is it that labor begins? im about 37 weeks along with my second child but i was induced early with my daughter and have never experienced this. not only that but i also had all back labor and am feeling like i won't be able to distinguish real contractions from braxton hicks...so i feel like this is my first labor and not my second.

Our son is 2 and 1/2 and absolutely refusing to try the potty. Some people say don't push it, others say drag him to the potty 1,000 times a day. I do a little of both. I ask him many times a day if he needs to potty...the answer is always a very resiliant "NOOO!" So we go to the bathroom anyway, go through the routine, no interest. I have tried bringing the chair into the playroom, offering rewards and continual support "I know you can do it!"

Any advice out there for me? Thanks a million!

Yes I know this is probably a stupid question and before you think I am some 15 yr old girl im not i just dont know the answer to this...the other night my boyfriend and i were grinding and we both still had our underwear on and i dont remember feeling wetness from him but it still could have happened and I just dont remember and i know that he doesnt have to penetrate for me to become pregnant as long as some sperm (or even one for that matter) got near the opening but i didnt know if it could go thru both his and my underwear....just a thought that was going thru my head as my period is due any day now...thanks a lot for the help

I was on the second day of my period and my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex where he did ejaculate in me. This was on the 17th of last month. I should be getting my period on the 15th of this month. Should I go get a test now or wait until the 15th and see if I miss my period?

Are we we supposed to just be a robot that only is allowed to pay bills, balance the checkbook, clean the home, do the laundry (babies go through mounds in a day), eat, do our homework, maintain the garden, and tend to our older child(ren) when the baby is napping or out for the evening?

Is it sinful and blasphemous to include the baby in adult chores where applicable? Or is baby wake time, simply play time for baby and nothing else?

Are we parents allowed to finish an assignment for class while baby entertains himself? Maybe even ask a question on Y!A for craps and giggles?

Is it sinful to only spend 92% of your time with your baby? Is it okay to spend 4% on oneself and your older child(ren), and 4% on housework?

Is wanting a tidy home for a crawling baby to explore bad? Or should parents just leave messes where they lay, and delve into the warp zone of baby 24-7 and neglect all else?

What are the hardest things for you to not pass judgment on when it comes to parenting?

For example--I have a hard time not passing judgment on teenage mothers who expect sympathy for their situation.

My mother told me that she had to have a C-Section because the umbilical cord was tied around my neck due to her bending over so much (I came out all purple and nearly suffocated). I am now 6 months pregnant and every time that I bend over to pick up something, my mom gets mad at me and tells me that I need to squat instead. Can bending over cause my baby to be born like I was? Please help!!
