I'm 4'11" & I weigh 92lbs, I'm in my early 30's & my boyfriend & I are ready for a baby, well we want one, no one is ever ready for a baby. Anyway, do y'all think I'm too small to conceive? It's very hard for me to gain weight & I've had checkups done (lab test) & everything is fine with me, the dr. tells me I'm perfectly healthy. My menstrual cycle is normal, every 28-30 days.

B-sides, when we do have a baby, it will be loved so much & well taken care of!!! I know a baby is not a thing, I'm a grown woman, so don't turn things around.

LOL, I think it is so funny how people on here tell you to get married first before you have a baby. It's like are you serious!!!! I've been with my boyfriend for 5 and half years and we are trying to have a baby, so are we not going to be good parents because of a piece of paper. I'm sorry, but there is ALOT of couples in this world that got married BECAUSE of a baby and didn't make it, it's not about a piece of paper it's about love.

I had a friend about your size and she did fine, she lost the weight and looks great!!!!!! Good luck don't let dumb people that think a peice of paper is going to make things better for you...it's nice to ask random people their thoughts on Yahoo, and some have great anwser's and some think they know it all.....GOOD LUCK!!!!! :) :) :)

No, I don't think you are too small. My daughter was 5 feet and 95 pounds when she became pregnant. Her baby weighed almost 7 pounds. She only gained about 22 pounds for the pregnancy. The baby is now 3 years old and very healthy.

Start taking prenatals before you get pregnant to ensure that you have no nutritional deficienies. Sounds like everything should be normal and fine. You may either have a very little baby, or you may end with a C-section because of your small size, but I don't know why there would be any problems.

Not at all. If you are having regular cycles, your size is not any reason. If your percentage of body fat is below a certain range, you will stop menstruating because we need a certain level of fat for optimal health!

I am 5' even, and I have 5 kids. Don't let your doctor try and scare you into a c-section when you get pregnant either. Just because you are short does not mean your pelvic outlet is too narrow, your ligaments can't stretch (yes, your pelvis stretches during pregnancy!) and your baby's head can't mold to fit through. I gave birth to all my kids without surgery, and one of my babies the pediatrician even asked if I had a c-section with her because her head was so big and round! The look on his face when I said "Nope!" it was priceless!

Peques - the body size does not matter.

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your fiance to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your fiance to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Petit people have babies all the time. The only problem you might've encountered is not having cycles because of not having enough fat in your body. Fat influences estrogen production which is a driving force in ovulation...But you said you have regular cycles so it doesn't sound like that is an issue for you. Give it a shot.
