my five month old baby boy has started rolling over more. now that hes become a professional at the art he likes to spend more time on his tummy than on his back. the problem starts when i put him to bed. i always put him to bed on his back. feet to foot of the cot. but when i go check on him he has rolled over and is sleeping on his tummy. i find myself rolling him back several times a night. im really worried about cot death and i just wanted to know if there is a way that i cud stop him from rolling over in his sleep?

ok,well i been nauseated,my boobs started hurting today or should i say yesturday.my nipples hurt.my lower back hurts,my lower abnominal hurts.sept.12,i went to the bathroom.there was a little bit of red blood on my pantyliner.when i wiped it was light and pinkish with little spects of red.everytime i went to the bathroom it was still light.even when i had put a pad on it was barely nothing in it.then it was little bit of pink.after it was a little bit of red blood not dark but when i checked it again it was brown.then it was a light pinkish stain.i took a pregnancy test the other day and it was negative, but i also read that four weeks is to early for a test to come back positive because your hcg hormones is not high enough for a urine teat.also that after you have implantation bleeding your test should come out positive, because after implantation your hcg hormone level start to rise.i think i'm just having implantation bleeding.could i be pregnant?

I think its sad that unless you have cable there are no non violent cartoons on regular television for our kids today. I always loved waking up and watching the flintstones and bugs bunny. i would like for my kids to have the same fond memories as i did as a kid.
today everything is violent unless you watch chanel tbs

I strap him in but he still manages to get out of it and stand up!! Lately it has also been very difficult to get him to eat anything aswell. Ive tried and tried everything you can think of and he still wont eat. He picks at things and certain things but hes just not interested, he wont let me feed him anything of a spoon anymore and he doesnt want anything when i put it infron of him either. His afternoon bottle he doesnt really want and his nighttime one i have to give him half of it when hes asleep in his cot. What can i do?? hes definately not sick i tok him to the health nurse the other day.

You: 30-something step mom with no kids of your own. You supervise, do hours of homework, etc for 50-something husband's 5 kids b/c father works long hours/is never home/you are not currently working. Sometimes kids (Ages 10-14) do not answer when spoken to by you (but always hop to it when Daddy speaks to them of course). Example: You say OK time to stop playing and do homework..They ignore you. You call their names...they ignore you. You tell husband and he just says "I can't do anything about it! Stop complaining about my kids!" What should you do? 1) Let them continue and feel consequences b/c it only hurts them, i.e. they won't get homework help, medicine when sick, and so on. 2) Pick up belt and try to beat the living daylights out of them tho some r bigger than u? 3) Let husband deal with his own bad-azz kids because you are sick of being treated like YOU are a single-parent with three kids and HE is a single man with none when it's the other way around. 4) Or something else?

I know that studies are not conclusive but do you think walking or sitting would be the lesser of 2 "evils"?

I tried taking off the bouncer toy bar with one hand. I didn't even think about it falling towards her. It fell forward and hit my 5 1/2 month old baby in the head. The toy bar is a little bit heavy. Maybe a few pounds because of all the toys/battery attached to it. She cried very loud for a 1 min or so. There were small red marks on her forehead. I feel terrible for not being more careful. Will her head be fine? Will it cause any damage in the future?

My friend's daughter is currently obsessed with The Disney Monarchy of Princesses. Today, she professed that she didn't want to ride her bike as " Princesses don't ride bikes, I've never seen one ride one."

She was then politely informed that even though she didn't see princesses pee, they do in fact have to do so. This line of reasoning only went so far.

In short, in your opinon, who are some good female role models that would appeal to a very independent, very cool, three year old girl?

She's left Dora and is in love with Ariel.
Help.

I'm thinking Hermoine Granger....your suggestions, links, et al will be very appreciated in our search for non princess related heroines!

Serious ? guys and child support - being a father?
I live in the State of California. I've been told by my best friend who grew up with a single parent and he rarely seens his father, has said I'm ****** stuck and can't get out of paying child support. Courts always go in favor of the mother. I'm proven to be the father of a newborn baby but i'm not ready to be a father. I can barely hold down a steady job. I'm 25. The mother is filing for sole custody, and child support. Even if I give up my rights and say I want no visits I still have to pay child support. Why do us guys get the short end of the stick?

is there anyway possible in getting out of child support?

Today was a bad day she peed in her panties 5 times and pooped 1 time. I try to take her but when she doesn't need to go right then she fights me saying "I don't need to go". Then a few minutes later she will wet her panties. She will be 4 in January and I know she understands. She just started preschool 2 days a week and was so excited I felt that maybe peer pressure would help, but she did it at school. Some background this is my sons daughter we have custody of her and her brother 2 1/2. I know she is angry at her mother so I'm wondering if its her way of controling this situation.
