Serious ? guys and child support - being a father?
I live in the State of California. I've been told by my best friend who grew up with a single parent and he rarely seens his father, has said I'm ****** stuck and can't get out of paying child support. Courts always go in favor of the mother. I'm proven to be the father of a newborn baby but i'm not ready to be a father. I can barely hold down a steady job. I'm 25. The mother is filing for sole custody, and child support. Even if I give up my rights and say I want no visits I still have to pay child support. Why do us guys get the short end of the stick?

is there anyway possible in getting out of child support?

Nope. If he was not ready to be a father he should have kept his zipper up! It is not the baby's fault that he can't hold a job! He needs to grow up and realize that he helped create another human life and he needs to take care of it!

Well I was thinking that if you give up your rights you didn't have to worry about child support but I could be wrong. But the reason guys get the short end of the stick is because some stupid judge or lawyer or whoever it might be assumed that just because a female carried that child that they are more fit to take care of that child. Well that isn't always true. It was just as much of that man making that kid as it was her. It's easy to say a man is unfit but you have to almost have the mother sniffing cocain in front of a judge before he will take the kid away. Hell after that he probably won't take the kid away. It's because they assume that since she is the mother that she knows what is best. BULLS**T!!!

Deny Paternity. You have to provide a DNA sample to prove whether or not you're the father. If you're not the father then you're off the hook. If you are the father....

Establish a physical and mental ailment which prevents you from working.

That is about it. Child Support is the new welfare and instead of the tax payers paying - Immature dads are paying.
