Anyone have conversations like this with their child?
For my son's birthday, he says "Mom, for my birthday, if any of my friend's Mom's ask, I would like Lego. BUT, not the MEGA blocks kind of lego, jus the lego with the proper lego logo on it. Also I would like books. But not just any kind of books, just books written by Roald Dahl. But be sure to tell them that I already have these 15 books (starts rattling off titles)"
Always makes me smile
PS, in the end, I told him. How about I tell them that you would really like some LEGO, or perhaps a gift certificate for the bookstore.
