what do you do if your mother scold you?

what if your mom is a gunmouthed person?

All of us at some age or stage feel the same, from the question I can judge that u are possibly in your early or late teens. If there is no other problem in your house (marital discord between your father or mother, alcohol or psychiatric disorder) then your mother is possibly trying to correct u, you can off course at an appropriate time speak to her on the issue. But remember this question, you will possibly land up doing the same to your kids when u grow up. So SMILE and give her a hug.

I am 24 and i dont have a mother that scolds me or to tell me that i am doing wrong sometimes i wish i had my mother here to help me/scold me to guide me when i go astray but instead i am alone on this jurney so dont be so ashamed that your mother loves you enough to say something when she thinks that you are doing something that in turn might hurt you later or the people around you. Be glad that you have your mother that loves you enough to be there and get after you when you are doing wrong. If she gets too gunmouthed then tell her to use a different tone or talk to u as an adult that might help with the way you feel about it too.

Thats a intresting question all the mothers scold all of their childrens....yes sometimes in front of everyone and u get really embarrased. So when she scolds u infront of all two things u can do....cut the topic by saying somethiing or walking away and tell her later when u want to scold please do it in my room or house not infront of all...as its bad to show wats going on in our house to all. When she scolds u just take it in a funny manner and smile and run away as u also know u did a mistake..so next time will not surely do it.

I just go back to my own house. But my mother and I generally have intelligent conversations about things. One of the perks of being an adult, I guess.

If I were you, I would listen to what she has to say, and listen the first time so she doesn't have to scold you to get the idea across.

Hey Man, It is my opinon, I feel great when my mother scolds me, i felt proud that there is some one who loves me and they have every right to scold me also. It is really great privilege in my life.

I never let anyone to scold me just like that other than my mother and father, becasue they have every rights to scold me, beat me and show me the path of light.

My mother has never yell at me or critisize me.When you scold the child,he/she feels ashamed,get angry and it makes a lot of feelings,but none of them try to solve the problem.You should solve the problem,not scold your children.

This is the first time I heard expression gunmouthed...As an adult I would expect my mom to treat me with the same respect as I treat her. As a mother of three grown children I would never humiliate them by yelling at them in public.

At 16, I would get mad at first, then brood and rant. Thereafter, with normal sense returning to me, I would do a re-think--though that is very rae to happen. But something would surely happen within a short time , which would make me come to a re-think. And, however gun-mouthed they are, they are uncannilly right, most of the times.

I have 6 kids though and I only get mad at them because I love them and want them to make right choices.
