Teenagers are told it is ok to be having sex, unfortunatly they are not told that Abortion is not ok at the same time. New studies are finding that not enough education is provided about abortion and what it really is..... Teenagers think well they just END the pregnancy.... Untrue. The truth is out there WHERE?

First of all I find it very disturbing that either pro-choice or pro-life websites, literature, etc. is being handed out in public schools. These are decisions that each individual has to make for themselves.
Teens have abortions for the same reasons that other people have abortions around the world: a child is not convienent at the time. As callous as that sounds, women have been terminating pregnancies either clinically or through the use of herbal supplements for thousands of years. Having a baby as a teen, for most, is merely sacrificing one life for another--sacrificing your own life in order to continue a pregnancy. Most states require parental consent to perform abortions on teens under age 18. These parents are the ones who are responsible for imparting morals and values in their children. They love their children and obviously want to protect them from the road they are headed down.

-The pressures of being a teenage child raising a baby..
-Afraid to tell parents because of what their reactions may be.
-Got pregnant on purpose to trap the BF only to find that he isn't supportive of the pregnancy.
-Getting the wrong type of support. Adults can play a huge role in encouraging teens to have abortions just because of their age.
-scared of the unknown.

They know they have nothing to offer this unborn baby, they must depend on there parents but the parents will not hear anything about her keeping the baby so either she has the abortion or is thrown out.....sometimes they just say it to scare you because they know you are too young to have a baby

I am not for it the main part of them don't want to have to deal with a baby and don't want to raise it,or Cant afford it. they should have to carry the baby until birth and if they don't want it give it away. Abortion is murder. and all these doctors and mothers are going to come face to face with God one day.

i guess so but i know alot of people that are young that have babies or are having babies. i think they might not konw whats going to happen to their lifes with a baby in the future or they dont want to miss out on the things their friends are doing

It's what their parents want ,and the teens know they are at their parent's mercy because they know they can't even take care of themselves let alone a baby so they have the abortion.

Hmmm...exactly what you said...I suppose. I know if I got pregnant, honestly, I know I am not ready for a kid. That is why teens do it. Because they are not ready for the responsiblity of a kid in anyway. They are still a kid, and emotionally need to still be one.
