I think this isnt a question and how could being married and having children be selfish once u have kids you give up everything for another life. I hope when your old you have no son or daughter to take care of you how selfish is that.?

You are posting this question just to get a rise out of people. If people did not continue to have children, the human race would cease to exist. I praise those who choosing to get married and have children. The real problem lies with those who are having children and not getting married or being in a long term relationship. Maybe you should call them selfish.

See there isn't a right or wrong about getting married and having children.
Why is marriaged tied to having children anyway? There are people who get married and don't have children, and people who have children without marriage 1st at all.
So if you have children, what, you sell them off or something so that they don't have to support you when you can't support yourself?
There are children who don't even care about their parents, not even bothering to at least leave them in homes for the old.

No dear, parents' love is the most unconditional one. They may expect some care and concern from you but the aqct of having children is not selfish. How many of us can sacrifice our career for our parents? Are not the children selfish too? If parents want some support for old age, it can not be called a selfish wish...

Wrong. Children bring utmost joy to your life. Watching them grow is the most rewarding experience. We lose our selfishness when we raise our children. By raising them with love and care gives us a reason to live. Having children for old age problems? That is utter nonsense.

One has children for the reason one has flowers all round and stars in the night and a rainbow after rain and birds all over.Imagine a world without colors and sea without fishes and your food without spices or sugar just tasteless.Our world without children would be like that.What is the fun of living.Even animals have children, they don't have to worry about old age. What about young people that are married and have children? I'm 22 and my husband is 27.. are we having children for our "old age problems?" Believe it or not, some young people in this world DO still believe in marriage.... As far as older parents are concerned- my parents were both in their early forties when they had me- and they were great.

Boy oh boy will this question ever get some angry responses. I think that people that don't have children are the ones that are selfish, but that is their decision, it takes all kinds of people to fill this old world. Good question though.

No i think you are bitter & twisted to write a question like this LOL yes yes we are having kids because we are selfish getting up for night feeds listening to screams refering arguements , taxing kids places staying up for assignments , feeding clothing , loving 24/7 times that by 4 i'm incredibly selfish Geez i can't wait for my kids to grow up & look after me in my old age Geez u Moron what planet did u come from remember what u put your parents through.
