No babe you are complete safe no need for the morning after pill. the pill takes up to 7 days to come out of your system so as you only missed 1 and made up for it anyway there is nothing to be worried about. but if your always forgetting to take it i would think about changing what contraception your on to maybe the coil or the implants you can get in your arm take care in future hunny x

They say medically that if you miss even one pill you should wait seven days after you have taken your next pill before you have sex. The pill takes 7days to take effect, i.e f you miss one one day the pills before will carry you over and in 7 days that will be the time you will be unprotected.
The morning after pill only works by killing sperm and in the case of completely unprotected sex.. in the case of missing a pill it would not work because it is not that day that you will be unprotected.
Sometimes poeple, like myself, miss one, dont do anything about it and everythings fine. then one day you could miss a pill, not realise and end up with a son like i have!!
My best advice would be to continue taking the pill as normal and either dont have sex, or take other precautions (such as condoms) for the next week or so to be on the safe side.

If you've been on the pill for some time there shouldn't be a problem as you took one when you remembered and another later the same day. I used to forget occasionally but never got caught!
If you've only been on the pill for a couple of months you may be advised to get a morning after pill.

No you don't need to take the morning after pill. As long as you didn't miss like a month worth of pills. I forget to take my pills sometimes. I'll forget for a couple of days and then remember. I've been on the pill for 5 years and I haven't gotten pregnant.

Don`t panic your still protected ! I take my pill at bedtime say 11pm and i have forgot it but as long as i take it before 11am the following morning i am still ok . If you read the contra-indictions ?(the leaflet in your pill packet) it should be there giving advice regarding missing a pill , UNLESS its the mini pill then i would ask a pharmacist or doctor what to do .Hope this helps ..

It depends on the pill you are on. Reading the leaflet that comes with it will tell you the answers you are after. I can tell you though that microgynan 30 say that if you miss a pill you can not be guarenteed to be protected again for 7 days after you missed the pill. If you don't have the leaflet talk to your doctor or nurse at your doctors office and they will be able to advise you or phone NHS direct.

I think you're safe, but to be sure visit a gynaecologist - do not take the morning-after pill, since you're already taking a pill, without consulting.

Get the morning after pill - that's how I got pregnant with my daughter!
Luckily you can go to any pharmacy now - but it will set you back about £20 - it's free from your doctors - IF you can get an appointment!
