Once you empty trash on your e-mail it is gone as the day is long. Sometimes if you're using web based e-mail servers the trash empties itself. As for all websites and IM's; there's no magic way to see all IM's and webbies unless you use monitoring software.

AOL http://discover.aol.com/aolfeatures.adp

Non-AOL Monitoring Software http://www.spectorsoft.com/products/SpectorPro_Windows/entry.asp

These are just two of many out there. Hope this information helps.

Usually once you delete mail, it will go to a trash bin. You have to check the trash bin once you delete it. It will still be there.

Deleted information can be recovered. The condition to recover deleted data is very stringent and expensive. It all depends on how badly you want it back.

What does this have to do with pregnancy & parenting. Isn't there a computer section here in Yahoo Answers?

Open the "new" Yahoo e-mails. Open clever perspectives. you will see that Yahoo keeps each email you have ever sent or acquire. it rather is impossible to delete something out of Yahoo clever perspectives - it makes it lots easier for the FBI and NSA to hint your email history.
