I'd make an appointment. I mean, babies do sleep INCREDIBLY sound, and you can move them, dress them, shake them (i dont mean like shaken baby syndrom, just like you might shake a person awake, not under the arms and back and forth. More like wiggling or poking them so they move back and forth or something).
Some of the signs of SBS is delayed responce, sleep apnea, breathing problems, and inability to focus their eyes (babies over 3 months) and follow your hand back and forth. Also, it can take days and weeks for these signs to show up in an infant.
Its possible that she's just a deep sleeper, or it could be that she was shaken in her past and the efects are just now setting in.
I'd have her checked out either way just so you can sleep better at night.

I would def at least call a dr and see if they have any info. Its scary but you never know, could it have been SIDS starting? I dont know, I am not exactly sure what that even is (I mean, do they just stop breathing?). She could have just been so deep asleep that she wasnt easy to wake.
I know its not the same but I will always remember when I was about ten, my cat was sleeping with me and I woke up and he didnt look like he was breathing and I grabbed him and he was limp. I freaked out and finally he just woke up and yawned, lol.
My son has occasionally scared me as well with deep sleep and even at five yrs old I stare at him sometimes to make sure he is breathing.

wow! Well thank god that she woke up just fine! I would say that it sounds strange! I have never hear of anything like that, but if it happened to my six month old I would definetly take her to her pediatricain! Just to make sure that there is nothing wrong, and heaven forbid there is an issue it is better to find out sooner than later. Hope fully it was nothing, just some kind of fluke! The vey best of luck to you and your baby! God Bless..

Anything that I've ever read said that if the baby is limp or unresponsive to call the doctor. I'm sure your baby is fine especially if she is acting normally now. I'd keep a watch on her though.
Calling your doctor will at least give you peace of mind. I call my baby's doctor regarding everything. It may be annoying to them, but I want to make sure my baby is okay.

I"m not being all down on you but never shake a baby.Hey we all react different.Sometimes babies do fall into a deep deep sleep.some Dr.s say thats where they are realy asleep.maybe she had a little rough time trying to go to sleep. then when she did fall asleep she was in a deep sleep.I wish you both no more scares. God Bless You and your FAMILY.

it is possible that your child is getting the starting case of "sleep apnea" this is unfortunate but you may have caught it quick enough that there may be a simple surgical procedure to correct / eliminate it if you wish your child to sleep elsewhere use a monitor on their breathing so that if they do have labored breath you can catch it quickly
