This is my second time asking a question on here--I hope I don't get torn apart. I saw a question about parental advisory CDs, asking if the mother should get them for her daughter. I understand people have concern but I don't understand why. I believe in free thinking and letting my kids express themselves. I have raised my children knowing that art (lyrics, poems, stories, and films) are not always based on real life and not to take them literally. Why should we hold our children back from the music they feel like listening to, whether that be, Marilyn Manson, Hillary Duff, Brittany Spears, Slipknot, SOAD, The Backstreet Boys, or John Lennon? Shouldn’t we be raising our children to be free thinkers and let them feel liberated by their own music choices?

I don't think caucasian babies are ever born with brown eyes. My cousin just had a baby who's quite brown and has brown eyes. She's white and the guy she's saying is the father is white. But, the baby has brown eyes. I know newborns are a little discolored at first so I'm not counting the tan thing. But, brown eyes... Wouldn't that make them hispanic?

I have a two year old by a man in the air force who was put into prison in a kansas military prison before my son was born and I was told he would be thier for 14 years but after some research I found a guy who looks exactly like him in kansas and really think it is him and I know prisons do not allow you to get on the damn internet.

Could some people please go here and tell me if the pictures look like the same person, I would really appreciate it..I think it is but I want more opinions before calling up the air force and bitching them out

I've never had a baby before - and I'm not pregnant yet. So, prepregnancy info would be good too.

I have had an excessive amount of CM that is similar to ovaulation ( egg white like/watery) yet a little less stretchy and I am ttc after a miscarriage in july. My Af was on 08-18 I am due for another on 9/15. This is a sign that I had in my lat pregnancy, I kept feeling like I started and all it was was excessive mucus, I have been feeling a little nauseous especially late at night, but that is off and on and I think it might be my wanting to be pg or something. I also am having weird cramp like feelings but my body might have changed after my miscarriage even though I never had these during my periods before I was pregnant, do you think it is possible I might be pregnant? I will know if my period doesnt come by next week, but I wanted to see whatyou think.

I live in a fourplex and we have a neighbor who has a new wife and she has a 3 year old son. They live on the second floor and this child is so horrindous. The mother doesn't disipline him and she won't let her husband dicipline him. The child has thrown trash all over the yard, yells at our dogs, spits soda off the side of the porch, and throws toys everywhere. We even found a 4 inch knife in our yard. The child threw it at our dogs! We have confronted the mother several times and she has some excuse about having a "sleeping disorder" and her son is too stubborn to dicipline. My husband and I and our neighbors have had it. They won't dicipline the child and we want this to stop. Any ideas?

use this excuse.

Well little johnny is getting interaction with other kids, I've even heard and seen it posted where people have said that children who stay at home with their mothers don't. Do they know how dumb that sounds?

I mean I laugh out loud to myself when I hear that garbage. Please. We have 2 playroups, we are involved in MOPS and my kids get plenty of interaction without them being in daycare.

I know everyone can't stay at home with their kids, but to assume that kids who stay at home with their mom or dad don't get interaction with other kids is absurd. Why do you think people say that all the time , the ones who use daycare?

THIS IS NOT A BATTLE of stay at home moms or dads vs working parents. this is a battle of assumptions

have a great day, i need to finish prepping dinner before naps are over! toodles

I am 5'7" tall and 23 years old. This is my first child. Before I got pregnant I weighed a toned 140. Now I am eight months pregnant and I weigh about 210. In the begining, I did not experience morning sickness and I gained 20 during my third month! I really don't think the weight has gone to any one particular spot, though I am thicker throughout and my face is plumper! And my gosh, my breasts went from a 36C to a 40E! I am planning on breast feeding, and I hear that helps a lot. Are there any other tricks to help get into shape? How long should you wait post partum to do sit ups/ crunches? Or will carring the baby in a sling be beniificial? Thanks!

Is it even tougher to get a slim waistline if your belly is really big? Mine sure is!

Sorry if this is too graphic for anyone! I am 33 weeks pregnant and I am just wondering if anyone knows of any positions that will ease the pain and discomfort of intercourse? My husband and I don't usually use the missionary since it hurts when he puts any pressure against my belly. Spooning is okay but it hurts my tailbone and it causes pain vaginally, the same with me on my side and him upright. Standing with him from behind hurts vaginally and makes my pelvic bones ache.

Is there anything we are missing? I have a kama sutra but it doesn't really say what the best position for pregnancy is. My husband still finds me attractive and I want to continue to be intimate, though the pain has cut into our sex life a lot. Thanks in advance for the advice.

A friend of mine is a divorced father of a baby. He has joint custody. He complains that most men's rooms are not equipped with baby changing stations. I thought there were state or federal laws requiring this--but since I do not frequent these establishments I don't know.

He asked me to blog on the subject. So I am trying to gather some informmation and ideas.

I am curious how many men's rooms do have diaper changing areas.

Also--what should be done to encourage more? I am a libertarian and hate the idea of government regualtion in general. So I really don't like the idea of a government fiat in this area. But if it is a problem--maybe that is the only answer--no matter that it is another nauseating sounding politically correct idea.

Please share your experiences, knowledge, facts and ideas with me.
