In the supermarket, my 4 year old asked a man with a turban and robes on what superpower he had. At first I was horrified, but the guy told him he had super shopping abilities and thought it was hilarious.

The other day my almost 4 year old walked in the room, came up to me and said, with the funniest little grin on her face, "You want a piece of me?" I started laughing hysterically and she thought this was great. I asked her where she heard that and she said, "From Woody and Buzz." She loves Toy Story and has seen it several times, as have I. I had to go watch it later to see if she was right, and yep, it's in there!

When my daughters were 3 and 6, we heard a Green Day song on the radio that has the S word in it. My older daughter heard the word, and her eyes widened, and she said, "Mom, they just said the S word!"

I thought I would be funny and pretend not to know what the S word was. My child tried various ways to help me understand what the S word was, and finally asked her sister to cover her ears. My younger child covered her ears with a deep sigh.

My older daughter then spelled the word for me. I pretended, still, not to understand.

My younger daughter, without ever uncovering her ears, rolled her eyes, sighed again, and said, "They said Sh-t, Mom."

My hubby was talking to me one night and called someone and a hole in front of our 2 year old son. He looked at him with a very disappointed look on his face and said, "No daddy. You are an a hole." And he kept staring at him with that look. I couldn't punish him for saying the same thing his daddy just said, so I laughed and told him not to call anyone that name anymore.

We always did the Tooth Fairy thing. About 4 months ago, she told me that she lost a tooth and she put it under her pillow. I fell asleep that night and forgot to put the money under her pillow. Then next morning she is crying her eyes out telling me that the she didn't have any money under her pillow. I sat her down and explained to her that she's now 10 and need to know the truth. When I was done, she said "Mom, I already knew that. I'm not crying because of the Tooth Fairy, I'm crying because you forgot to put the money under my pillow".

I still laugh about that.

My maiden name is Apple and my 3 year old son and I were going through different family member's names. I was telling him that Pappy and Nana's last name was Apple and he thought I was joking. So when I said "What are Pappy and Nana's names", he said "Pappy Apple and Banana Nut!" My dad thought that was a little funnier than my mom did, lol.

My 21 month old told me "Careful with me mommy" as I took him out of the tub about 2 weeks ago. Little did I know that my husband was the one who thought it would be funny to teach him that (as well as a few other phrases).

When my niece was 3, we were in the car with her parents & my mom. My niece was excited to go to "the big mall with the play area" and said (to her dad) "Dammit, Larry, do you think you could drive any slower??" She sounded JUST like my sister & we all cracked up. My mom was so mad that my sister had talked that way ever in front of my niece!

My husband and I had been arguing one afternoon. Well he got mad at me and walked outside. When he did I said under my breath A**hole. So when he came back inside my daughter (2 yr old at the time) looked him in the eye and said "my mommy said you are an A**hole!" He got really mad at me but all I could do was sit and laugh.

My kids are always cracking me up. They know they're funny. One of the things that I get a kick out of that my 3 year old doesnt actually know he is saying is... "My dad had a hooker this weekend." His dad is a tow truck driver and a hooker is what he calls tow truckes because of the hook on them. I know what he is saying when he says it but when he tell everyone else I cant help but laugh.
