Stir it. do not shake...Last thing you need is a bloated, gassy baby

I hated similac -- i had to use it becuase they ran out of mine -- and for that reason only. It foams up SO bad and my baby got terrible tummy aches. I have her on the Target Brand (its like 10 cheaper a can!!!) ... and no foamy -- i promise it will work. Ive also heard of people using the walmart and kmart brand -- but like i said --- ive been using the target brand -- and she is sooo healthy too! 9 months and she's 27 pounds! (well, that and her daddy is very tall)... good luck! get off that similac though -- its terrible for baby's gas and tummy

I got the discount gas drops fro about 2 bucks at my fiesta store in Texas(The Mylicon name brand cost about $14 for the exact same amount). I asked the pediatrician, and she reccommended using it to eliminate the bubbles, since I was giving it to her anyway after each bottle cuz of the killer gas, just put it in the bottle after you shake, and it will make the bubbles burst, and prevent gas in munchkins tummy afterward as well! Ask your pediatrician if you are unsure!

buy the similac that is already mixed. it costs more but there will be less gas and throw up from the baby.

If you have to use that kind of formula, mix it up in advance and let it sit in the refrigerator. It will give the bubbles time to go away.
