Can a regular drug store pregnancy test come back positive 6 days after conception?

A store test cannot give a false positive, and whoever said different is wrong, wrong, wrong! The test is designed to detect HCG, a hormone that only is present when there is a pregnancy. You cannot create HCG if you are not pregnant, and that's a fact, jack. The test isn't supposed to be accurate so soon after conception, however, and I can only figure you may be wrong about the date. Go see a doctor!

No. Read the insert on the box of the product you purchased (it will usually say how many days you need to wait before testing), but even blood tests won't show a slight positive until after 10 days. Blood tests are more accurate, so if you can wait a few more days, schedule an appointment with your doctor and get the lab done.

Yep because the newer tests are very sensitive to to the slightest hint of any pregnancy hormones. Best to wait a week and take another one just in case.

As long as you test twice i dont see any reason that it wouldnt be true as long as the resultes are the smae

Remember they can give false-positive or false-negative, so check again after some more days o check with your doctor, just to be sure.

very doubtful. the most advanced ones will be able to tell 4 days before your period is due. most normal ones can only tell once your period is due.
