Kittly litter... for starters. If you have a cat, make sure someone else is changing the litter for you on weekly basis.
Other than this, you really do not need to limit your activities...nor do you need to eat for two, or any other old wive's tales attached to pregnancy. You doctor will provide TONS of pamphlets as far as do's and dont's, but after birthing 4 babies, trust me, your body takes control and being pregnant does not make you as fragile as many first-time Mom's like to think they are. Enjoy the ride sister...you're not the pilot anymore! :)

You should get a complete list from your doctor but some of the things are....
Lunch Meat
Hot dogs
Feta, Blue or any UN pasteurized cheese
Alcohol
smoking
drugs
cough/cold medication
any pain reliever other than Tylenol
sushi
rare or raw meat, to eat you can still cook with it of course
LITTER BOX!!! if you have a cat make someone else change the box, if it is just you disposable gloves, mask, and wash well after.
This is by no way a complete list
Happy & Healthy 9 months!

anything that will prevent the baby from being healthy
include someone that can cause you stress
as for the MED (the doc will tell you )
Food other than alcohol you can eat most of anything and if you body don't like it you will trow up
don't run, dump rop, horse riding , heavy lifting
Most of all you must remeber now that your body is a temple
YOUR are the QUEEN so your Hus/BF need to treat you as such

i am currently pregnant (33 weeks) and i have as i am sure you have, have read all the books etc and they tell you to stay away from things like pate, soft cheeses, undercooked meat etc etc. In days gone past people did not have the information available today and i dont know about you but my mother ate a little of everything she fancied and i turned out ok, i too have done exactly that i believe your body tells you what it needs and as long as everything is in moderation i cant see the problem( that has even included the odd glass of wine!!) good luck to you!

I have 4 children. You must stay away from tuna fish. Lower your salt intake. Don't eat cold-cuts and hot dogs. A pregnant woman has a much higher rate of getting Listeria!! Limit caffeine to 1 cup a day if you have to drink it.

You can get some really good info from the folks at www.pregnancy-info.net
Foods to avoid during pregnancy include: processed meats (too many preservatives), soft cheeses (bacteria), undercooked eggs (have them scrambled not fried), certain types of fish. You should avoid many herbs as well, particularly those related to the mint family like peppermint, parsley, rosemary, thyme.

Salt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I craved salt all three times and bread too. Eat healthy, and try to stay away from salty foods. A little won't hurt, but the water gain is horrible. Walk alot, you don't have to completely stop doing what you like. Plus the more you walk the easier the labor is, it hurts like no other you will ever feel. Good luck
