I read the first several responses, and they all said 14 weeks, but that it not true. When they give you the date in weeks, it is given based on your whole cycle, not the actual date of conception, since that can't be known 100% sure, unless you are going through fertility treatments.
That said, you would have conceived approximately 12 weeks ago. The first two weeks are including the ripening of the egg inside of the ovary, the release of the egg, and the building-up of the uterine lining.
If that doesn't make sense to you, you can go to this website and read up a little bit on it.

You would have conceived 12 weeks ago and not 14. usually doctors count the 1 st day of preganancy as the first day of your last period, which is really strange, you would have conceived around 2 weeks after that, so technically you woud be 12 weeks pregnant, so you would have conceived around the 21st of June.

Why didn't you ask the doctor? If the doctor can tell you that you are 14 weeks pregnant, they'll be able to tell you the actual date you conceived (on the condition that you gave them the accurate date of your last menstruation)

You would have conceived 12 weeks ago so around the 20/21st of June but it could have been a few days either side of that.
Your due date is calculated from the first date of your last period so generally people are already 2 weeks pregnant before they have had sex!

Let's say today is Sept. 15, you would be 3 mos, and a half pregnant, making it the beginning of June the first month, so you conceived somewhere at the second week in May. Some doctors actually say it's 10 months not 9 of pregnancy.
Good luck with your baby, enjoy it! Children are the most precious gifts in life.

According to my understanding you actually conceived 12 weeks ago as doctors always starts counting from the date you started your last period, meaning that you have to count a week for your period and a week for ovulation, so in practice your baby is now 12 weeks (3 months) old

You would have conceived 11/12 weeks ago as the pregnancy is worked out from the first day of your last period which would be two to three weeks before you actually conceived. So you poss conceived mid to end of June.
You'll have to work out your dates yourself really!!
Congrats and good luck!

As already mentioned, people differ otherwise in their pregnancies. With the tecnoledgy virtually excellent at the present time, I doubt that it's improper when it says you're best having one child. As for showing previous to your pregnancy, there might be two explanations for this. 1. If you're thin and pregnant, you're going to show far more than a chubbier physique would. The lump for your belly will appear rather more larger if you're thin. 2. In case you are obese, you can be carrying water weight which would mean you might be carrying additional weight of fluids for your physique to the child. This could be inflicting extra of a mentioned belly. If you don't qualify to both of these motives, i do not think you must be overly concerned. Just preserve in mind every one is one of a kind and point out it to your medical professional at your subsequent appointment. & by the way, congratulations!

If you're obese, you can be wearing water weight which would imply you're wearing further weight of fluids to your frame to the youngster. This would be inflicting extra of a reported belly. There are plenty of due date calendar on sites like pampers.co.uk which give you a due date and tell you when you're likely to have concived. Check with one of them for an accurate reading. And the woman who mentioned 12 weeks is absolutely right - the work it out so that you're two weeks pregnant before you actually get pregnant - confusing but true! Congratulations and good luck!
