I have a negative pregancy test but have alot of the symptoms????????

Question

I just had a bladder infection and was taking medicine for that when I took the test......and it came back negative .....BUT I have a back ache , been having nausea after eatting or waitng to eat, crying extra easy, breast are getting more tender by the day, cramps and gassy feeling, and my last period looked like old (brown - light red ) blood......OPPINIONS PLEASE!

I GET NONE OF THIS WITH MY PERIOD !!!!I ALSO HAVEN'T BEEN GOOD AT TAKING MY PILL AND BEENING USING THE PULL OUT METHOD???

NOT ON ANTIBIOTICS...TAKING AZO

Well, if you're sexually active (I'm assuming you are if you thought to take a pregnancy test) and didn't use protection, then try taking the test again in a few days, or even wait another week. Honestly, those symptoms sound pre-menstrual, but if there is a chance you could be pregnant and you want to find out ASAP, get a blood sample drawn at your doctor's office when you can -- you'll be able to find out, in most cases, the next day. (Or even right then and there if your dr's office has a lab.)

I have the same situation you do. No period for the past 2 weeks and neg. test! The only thing I can tell you is if you think you ovulated later in the month to wait another week or so and test again and if its still neg. go to the doctor and get a blood test! Thats your most reliable answer neway!!! Good Luck

I was over 5 days late before I had my first positive test. by then I was over 2 weeks along. The first few test I took were negative, but I felt pregnant. Some other symptoms could be morning sickness, frequent urination, maybe even a swollen or enlarged abdomen. at three weeks I couldn't fit into my pants anymore.

well it sounds like you could be first of all the medicine your on for infection will not affect pregnancy test but you may be to early to get a + result wait for another week and take another back ache could be from bladder infection and nausea could be the antibiotic eat something before you take that.was it a full period? that could also be implantation.good luck

You might have had your urine too diluted since you have a bladder infection or it could have been to early, take another pregnancy test first thing in the morning. If this continues to come out negative you might consider a blood test, with my middle daughter I had two negative pregnancy test until a blood test came out positive.

Wait a little longer until your off of the medicine you are taking for the bladder infection. In fact, if you think you are pregnant don't take anymore! Talk to your doctor. If you are indeed pregnant the medicine might make you have a miscarriage or your child could end up retarded. You should seriously talk to your doctor.

How far after your missed period did you take the test? Usually best time is 7 days after your missed period to tell. I would see a doctor. It is also possible that you are getting your period but under stress or whatever.

it depend when was the last time that you had your p
anyway I would say that you should go back and tell your doc about your symtoms then a blood test should probably be done to see if you are preg

Some times the test do come negative if you had a late ovulation and pregnancy, so try doing the test again, my friend did three tests till she got the positive she wanted.
