Nay...the poor boy will be ridiculed all his life..I wish these stupid parents would think before they name their children.

Remember the name you choose is for keeps and you dont want to give your baby a name, which other people will make fun of. Children can be so cruel and they may make fun of him.

maybe keep the name joe and then use joby as a pet name at home.

As long as you like this name, who cares what anybody else thinks, i think it is a very cute name, and it is an unusaul name, I have never heard of a little boy called joby before, cool name hun.

if you like it, then sod whatever anyone else thinks. i would have liked to have known the surname as well to see how it sounds cos some names fit and some dont. i think it sounds cute though.

personally for me it's a no ......too close to the word jobby. Which means a poo to us Scot's. Sorry.
