I had a accident in june and i got several tickets including imprudent speed and failure to keep right. My lawyer said since my passenger and i were both injured we must plead not guilty and that id prolly lose and get 6-18 months suspended license. I was 16 at the time and was still on 6 month probation with my license so i was asking, what is the likelyhood of 18 month suspension? If i get a 18 month suspension can i also get a conditional licence or the time reduced?

I noticed that every time I went through security over the last year and a half (which was several times), I got pulled over to the side to be further checked. After awhile, I started wondering how random it really was. The reason I felt weird about it is because some people think I resemble a Middle Eastern female in my facial features (though I'm not), and sometimes I noticed people staring at me in line.

So, is it proven that the random screenings are really random, or can they just say that when they ask you to step over to the side?

Thanks...

I just came back from a Justice Court. I went up to the window and, before I could even open my mouth to speak, I was told to wiat, that there were people in front of me and they were short handed... Understandable. So, I waited. Name after name was called, I understand they were here before me and had some sort of prior arrangement, no problem. A gentleman came after me with no apparent appointment. He went up to the window and another clerk asked to help him. The clerk that told me to wait said nothing of it. I still waited. Three more men came after me and they too were helped. Another lady opened the door and pointed at the second in line and asked, "Have you been helped?", after which she attended him. She then did the same to the third man. Another lady came in and the same clerk that kept opening the door now helped the new lady at the window. Still the clerk that asked me to wait said nothing. By this time, that same clerk who said nothing looked at the lobby that was not empty

If a white man uses a noose to hang a black man, that would be a hate crime. The mere possession of a noose should be, at best, a misdemeanour.
Throughout history thousands of people of every race have met their fate at the end of a rope. We all remember Saddam Hussein's demise. How then can the mere hanging of a noose, in a tree, be misconstrued as a hate crime?

"LAS VEGAS - Nevada authorities on Friday identified a man they want to question as they search for a young girl shown being sexually assaulted in a homemade videotape.
Chester Arthur Stiles, 34, was being called a "person of interest" in the search for a girl with haunting eyes who authorities believe was 4 or 5 years old when she was raped and sexually assaulted in the video, Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo said."

I was always agains the capital punishment, but in this case I am 100% for it.

I recently gained 'custody' of my 15 year old brother. My grandmother who resides in Baton Rouge, La orginally had legal custody, but when he came to live with me in Arkansas, I was given an 'Order' placing him in my custody. Do I really have custody of him, or does my grandmother? By the way, she never signed any papers in regards to custody being given to me. However, she did write a handwritten letter saying she was no longer able to take care of him.

My mother has just passed away. I am the executer of her will. My mother has lived with me for quite some time, however my mother had a life estate at a property that my sister owned. That is were all her belongings are. Now my sister; the one who has the remainder interest in the property will not let me gather and collect moms stuff. Mom just passed away and she won't even let us in to get clothing for her. She is saying that moms life estate died with her and that she is the sole owner. She has also told me not to return to the property that she will have all of my mothers belonging put in storage and once I file the will for probate then and only would she allow me take the belongings. I know she now owns the property but can she take possession of the property that fast without letting us remove the contents. I thought as executor that I was able to gather my mothers belonging even though property has passed to her. She has already changed the locks and put no trespassing signs up

Movie stars and musicians make enough money as it is, and they dont use there profits enough to help better the country. I know some do but not enough. I dont think it should be illegal to download free music and watch movies online. Maybe there could be a five year rule, where for five years after a release there could be those laws but after that it just seems stupid...I dont know, its all a loead of bullsh*t if you ask me.

I just got a housing voucher, been waiting like 5 years, and the rules are that we must sign a new one year lease where ever we move to. The thing is that I still have 5 months on my lease left where I'm living.

I just had my third baby boy two days ago, and our apartment is far too small for all of us. How do I get out of this lease so that we can move into a larger nicer place, without having to sign a whole new lease here.

These apartments have no yard to play in and no three bedroom units at all. I look forward to now moving into a larger place possibly a house.

One child missing is too many.
My heart goes out to any parent that would go through that kind of living h3ll.
But why are all the missing children we see being searched for with help of the media almost if never an African American or Hispanic child.
As unfortunate as it is, there has to be minority children missing too.

Is there something like OSHA in which you can report your apartment complex for being non-compliant with desperately needed repairs? My aunt's apartment is flooded. Like barely livable flooded. She is literally walking around on plastic to avoid stepping in water. All of her furniture is damaged and no one wants to help her.

3 years ago I was 21 and just entering Airborne training. I was given 20,000 sign on bonus and a 20,000 college assistance bonus before entering. I never recieved these because soon after I went AWOL and now I guess I'm a deserter but I talked to my recruiter last week and he said I can't be considered a deserter because I never made it to my Unit. I was only in the army for 5 months before leaving (going Awol). My reasons are just excuses I believe in my heart that I am worthless for doing this and I don't deserve to be in the greatest country in the world. My recruiter has no idea what my status is. You see I was pulled over once and recieved a speeding ticket. I have bought a vehicle and I have had backround checks run on me by employers. I have a very good job and have had it for 3 years and now I am going through depression spells realizing I am a loser for doing what I did. I drank to much this weekend and got arrested for a disorderly and I still did not get arrested????????????
