My school's policy states that if someone was to walk up to you and attack you, you must either take the beating no matter how severe and not ge suspended or defend yourself and get 10 days suspension. Does it make sense to not defend yourself when someone is hitting you? Wouldn't you fight back to save yourself. I just want to know because in my school, that's how alt of people get suspended.

this is a little ...bear with me.

I was terminated for not meeting sales objectives.

I ended up getting unemployment benefits with no penalty(did not have to wait 6 weeks for the checks)

Where i live you can get yourunemployment extended for 6 months if your going to school for an occupation in high demand. (nj) I'm going to school for nursing.

the kicker is... your could have been fired from your last job.

I am now appealing the decision not to extend my unemployment. Do you think I have a chance???????

My counselor said I might because i didn't have the 6 week penalty. when had the phone interview i told the truth. i worked for verizon (landline) and customers were calling to complain not to upgrage their services. I couln't make people add a three year contract if their phone did't work. i really tried my best.

she said that my account allows for up to $500 in transactions A DAY even if there's not any money in my account, if I purchase things with my bank card.

Why do banks allow people to do this, because if you don't have the money to cover the transactions you're screwed. I always thought if you didn't have enough funds in your account and you used a bank card the transaction would get rejected, like what happens with a credit card?

Because this email is asking me to go to the United Kingdom it puts up a flag. Claims to be the United Nations of New York, for the United Kingdom, stating I won a lottery, and I am advised to sign strict insurance documents in person in the United Kingdom? the exact address and title of this email says its from:

Our Ref: WB/NF/UN/XX027
This email is stating that they have issued me a ATM card number, 5428XXXXXXXXXXXX, valued at $8.3 million USD, with a maximum withdrawal value of $10,000.00 daily. And due to the nature and manner of the strict insurance policy with back up documents, I have to sign in person , I need to go the the United Kingdom for the signing to aid in the finalization of this ATM card payment.
And this email is signed:

Please click on the above link and tell me what you think ?

Would you object if you employer wanted to implant a micro-in you ?

Should workers be protected from this sort of thing, or should employers be able to use this technology if they wish ?

What reasons can you think of that would justify allowing an employer to micro-chip their employees ?

Why isn't an ID badge, or fingerprint identification enough, why insist on implanting a chip in employees ? This would allow an employee to track their employees 24/7. Do they really have that right ?

What do you think of the 9 senators who voted against legislation that would prevent employers from doing this ?

The article only named one of the nine senators, I would be interested in finding out the names of the other eight.

Flight delayed after she feared 7 were terrorists!!! She was simply “protecting my tiny little family,” she insisted, adding that “all I could think of was 9/11.”
But yesterday, Leigh Robbins offered an apology to seven Iraqi men who were passengers on a plane scheduled to fly from San Diego to Chicago on Tuesday night. Robbins was also on the plane but was so terrified the men might be terrorists that she demanded to get off, causing a delay that prompted the airline to postpone the flight until the next morning. The Iraqis, as it turned out, were consultants working with Marines at Camp Pendleton. They say they were humiliated when airport security, reacting to Robbins' concerns, took them aside and questioned them. They have hired a lawyer.
“I know they're upset, and they have every right to be,” said Robbins, 35, a Richmond, Va., homemaker. She said she was traveling with her two young sons that night and decided to err on the side of caution.

Okay, for the past few days I've been a jackass. Here's my story. I send messages to one of my friends on myspace calling him a loser for not helping me out with a plan. My plan was to get back at a friend of mine who called me his best friend but I thought I wasn't. My plan: to alter messages he sent me on myspace and send them to his girlfriend and make it look like he was saying bad things about her. Then after that, I planned on throwing rocks at him and stealing his crutches because he broke his foot. Then I just started lashing out towards my other friends. I told my teachers that one of my friends was cheating and not siting sorces when he was doing research and I nearly got him kicked out of college, I got two of my female friends into a cat fight after telling one another one was saying stuff behind their back, I have sexually harassed girls, I called most of my friends dick heads, gay, and losers, I even physically assulted some of my friends. What is wrong with me?

I have a restraining order in effect, which makes it illegal for me to contact my ex; however, I am sueing her in small claims court and the laws of small claims court REQUIRE me to contact her. I am unable to write up a document and give it to law enforcement to properly serve because her only address on file is a PO BOX.

So in this case, which law is stronger? Am I allowed to send her correspondance related to the court trial or not?

she then (being of asian dessent) returned to her country for 6 weeks and on returning a few weeks after that decided to drop passed the shop to tell us she no longer wanted the items. My friend told her she was not entitled to have her deposit back as he had her items in storeage for all that time. The items came to £300 and she deposited £80. He has a sign stating deposits are unrefundable and also non-transferrable. Understandably she was very upset and cursed my friends 2 year old son to which my friend told her to go away in no uncertain terms. Who stands where legally?
