I'm loath to answer this question because I couldn't disagree with Capital Punishment more.
However, hanging if done quickly is the only really quick painless method.
Lethal injection although it looks very sanitary, well there have been discussions about how actually the person is unable to move but they are suffering agonies. The authorities know this, but as long as the person isn't writhing and screaming the public are happy. Apparently vets have said they wouldn't use that cocktail of drugs to put an animal to sleep.
I have wondered why.. if some cultures must insist upon this method of dealing with crime (and I am sure there will be a time when the whole world comes to realise this is not the way to behave) then the best thing would be a cyanide pill.
A bit like they gave spies so if they got caught they could avoid torture. Yes, I'm sure convicts would object to taking it, but I don't suppose they are keen on cooperating with the other barbaric methods you list. Let's pray for a day when this is just a question for those who are looking back at how things used to be.

Lethal injection. This is assuming that they get it right with the first drug that's supposed to put you to sleep. I've heard lots of cases where that doesn't happen and the death is very painful. If they can't do that right, i'd go with firing squad and hope they were a good shot. I might slip one guy some cash to shoot me in the head.

ok lets talk about this for instance the 2nd one shooting .... what if they miss and u just sit there and die slowly and about the third it takes a while to choke on the rope or watever they use and the fourth what if it is a slow one that would slowly kill you yea didnt think of that did you? and the fith the gas takes a while to get in ur lungs tile youget no more air to ur cells then u take a while to die so ill choose the chair a quick brain fry would do the trick

i would choose 3 because it takes if done properly half an hour for someone to die and i would want to live for as Long as possible and in many more cases than the others have people survived and if people survive any of the above they are not allowed to be hung, shot etc because it is seen as being an act of god (although i don't believe in god) if presented with this problem i would most definitely argue the point.
