My 8 year old son, his friend, and my younger son were cutting through a neighbors yard (which has no fence and joins several other yards and kids have been doing this for at least 2 years and owners have never told the kids to not go through the yard) the man who lives there comes around his garage says "What are you doing?" doesn't bother to wait for an answer and shoots my son in the leg with a paint ball, leaving a welt. (I also found out that this isn't the first time that he has taken shots at other kids). I didn't want to go talk to this guy by myself so I called my brother who is a cop and he told me to call the police, so I did. After talking to the police I just asked them to go talk to this guy for me as I'm kind of friends with this guys wife and our sons sometimes play with each other. I want to call her, but not sure what to say. I hope that we can still be friendly. What would you have done?

Someone who I know phished my e-mail account, and stole pictures of me of a semi-pornographic fashion that I sent to my man in Iraq... she has then posted them on myspace, in MY NAME saying that I am looking for a man who is big and such, and I don't know what to do. I contacted myspace about it and have yet to hear from them. I'm desperate for answers. Local PD and the PD in her state have no law on it... so there is nothing they can do either. Someone point me in the right direction on how to correct this awful situation!

Recently, I watched an Iraqi recorded video of Iraqi terrorists/insurgents beheading an American (I think he was a civilian) with a dull blade, about the size of a butchers knife. But they did not simply "chop" the head of, they sawed if back in forth, as if they were cutting bread or cutting through a tree trunk with a hand saw. I wathced in horror as the poor man lived through the blade sawing slowly through every inch of the diameter of his neck. His cries of pain and misery were then muffled by the bloodflow of the large vessels in his neck. The Iraqi terrorist showed no hesitation, no remorse, no shame, and seemed to enjoy every stroke of his sawlike blade. It made me absolutely sick in every way imaginable. I couldn't comprehend how a human being could do this to another. It also inspired me to feel hate for Islam, which is a terrible feeling for a person to have about anything. What would motivate a Muslim to do this. Brain washing? Religion? Why build a religion around hate?

Can I sue? On what grounds? What is the coverup? I went to the hospital for anal bleeding and anal mucous. Help!!!Doctors and Health Professionals..Is it legal
Question Details: I went to the hospital for anal bleeding and anal mucous. But when I was discharged, the reason I went was not listed on the discharge papers. It was one of the lesser symptoms that was on their. The docter did xrays and blood test. Also; a fecal occult test by a student docter came out sllightly positive, However; on the print out that I requested of all test and results. Nothing was listed about the test. Also, the discharge papers said nothing about the anal bleeding or mucous that I came in for. It documented that I was trated for abdominal pain. Which was the least of my problem.he said the Xray showed that I had stool backed up in my colon, in and out. Okay, fine, but why was my primary complaint not listed on any of papers. When asked to speak to the Head person of the department, a male RNsaid that he was head. And virutally agreed with the docter. What of anything can I do about this situation? Can anyone help me? angelsstr@yahoo

My brother was going into the mall. When he was in his car with a female friend with his music playing. An officer who was put on mall duty pulls him over because he claimed his music was too loud and demanded his license, registration, and insurance. He was given a ticket for some issue with his out of state license, which was news to him and in and of itself surprising. My brother claims that he did not have the music at an unreasonable level. My question is can he ask for his driver's information if its disturbing the peace, and then a ticket for an unrelated issue?

If the tables were turned and the Jena 6 were white juveniles the same proponents, Jesse James, Al Sharpton, and all the other jokers, would be involved but on the other side. They would be fighting for harsher punishments of white juveniles in this same position.

It was racially motivated yet one is free on bond and will only be tried as a juvenile. It was a hate crime.

If the tables were turned and it were 6 white guys they would sit in jail, have no bail set and be tried as adults.

Why is this acceptable in a prominently black state/community but not in white states/communities?

I made the mistake of giving my son his father's last name at birth. His father left shortly after he was born and hasn't been involved since. My son has started kindergarten and our different last names is already causing some confusion on several occassions. Nothing major that can't be explained after showing a few forms of identification and a birth certificate, but I'd like to change his name to mine before he gets any older mostly because I have raised him on my own all this time and I'm the one who will always be there for him. What is involved (paperwork, fees, etc?) Do I need an attorney or can I file everything on my own?

I am very worried, the house down the road from my parents is full of thugs. Their mom got the house through some low cost housing program and their mortgage payment is less than 300 dollars a month. Anyhow the mom does not even live there, and there has been three drive bys, and two just in the last week. The nieghborhood itself is not bad, it is a middle class neighborhood. I am very scared for my parents, and even more so to drop off my daughter to visit. What can be done, can the housing authority be called, isn't it fraud that the mom got the low cost house and dosen't even live there.

At my current job, most of the employees are part-time workers, and they try to schedule us to under 30 hours for the week. A lot of times we are called in for additional hours which sometimes puts us over 40 hours for the week. However, instead of logging in (via company intranet) they have us fill out "mis-punch" forms for the additional hours. They do this to avoid paying us anything additional to our normal pay if we surpass 40 hours for the work week. Is this legal? This is a huge corporation, although Im not sure if the whole company condones this or if just the store I work in does so. If this is illegal, what actions can I take or who, outside of the company, should I speak to? Is there anyway to get any pay from the past weeks that I worked over 40 hours?
Thanks, and if your an employment lawyer please let me know when responding.

If someone sent a petition to a Superior Court, and signed the statement declaring, "I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the state of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct," and you have proof that they lied (they lie about many things) would the courts really do anything about it? And if so what would they do?

Could you sue them for lying about you?

If no one knows the answers to these questions, might anyone know where I could find out?

I remember a few years ago this couple that worked for the coroner's office had sex with a dead woman or girl together. I can't remember the deceased person's age. At the time there were no laws on the books that addressed such behavior so no charges were brought against them. Has anything changed?

Don't tell me the rules, just tell me how to get his money back. thanks
