I am very worried, the house down the road from my parents is full of thugs. Their mom got the house through some low cost housing program and their mortgage payment is less than 300 dollars a month. Anyhow the mom does not even live there, and there has been three drive bys, and two just in the last week. The nieghborhood itself is not bad, it is a middle class neighborhood. I am very scared for my parents, and even more so to drop off my daughter to visit. What can be done, can the housing authority be called, isn't it fraud that the mom got the low cost house and dosen't even live there.

Start video taping it and take to police dept....but be careful that they dont see you doing it.. you may have to just sell the house and move to a safer area.. Good luck..

It is illegal to have such activity in the housing approved home. They would probably take the home. Also if they are selling drugs then the government would seize the house and auction it. I would call the police department and tell them about the crime. As far as the home goes if you are sure that they have it up under housing authority call them and let them know. People that live like this should not have the help of the government to buy homes.

Call the housing authority, as well as the police, so they are aware of the situation in the neighborhood, in case it escalates, into a gang riot, durgs, etc. At least the police will have a record of your complaint. Perhaps her income was low enough for her to get the house.

i live in this kinda of neighborhood too and just today sumone threw a firework and started a fire outside my house it aslways happens but when i looked outside the grass was bruning so anyways heres wutcha do----
