hi i'm 14. me and my ex friend were fighting. she cussed me out and closed her door. i broke it down. and beat her ***. could i go to jail? for breaking her door?

You could probably be charged as a minor for breaking and entering and assualt and battery.

Your punishment would probably depend on where you live and what the stare decisis or local/state statutes are regarding such activity.

You could certainly be charged with criminal mischief, assault and possibly even burglary if the injuries are severe enough to make the assault a felony. But you would be in the juvenile system, which is in the jurisdiction of the family court. The person has to press charges against you and follow the case through. Then again, nothing could happen. If you are convicted or if you plead guilty you could get probation most likely and they would make you do anger management and things like that. You shouldn't post on the internet because if they find it and they want to press charges they have a confession now. And for the record, I am only speaking for NYS law.

Yes. You could go to jail for Destruction of property, and simple assault, or depending on how badly she was injured, assault. However, she would have to agree to press charges, her parents could press charges for damage to the property, but she would have to press the assault charges.
