What harm is it gonna do, i mean the only people who will be allowed to smoke it are the cancer patients who really need it and it relieves a lot of pain for them.

My girlfriends parents and my parents recently found out me and my girlfriend are having sex. Now everytime My girlfriend and her parents get into a fight her mom threatens to call the police on me because i am a sex offender.

Here are a few details.
1. Live in the state of Illinois.
2. I am 18, she is 17. Our birthdays are 11 months apart.
3. We've been having sex since before I turned 18.
4. We've been together for just over a year.

I wanted to know if she can LEGALLY call the police on me for having sex with her daughter. I also wanted to know if there was any way around this, if any? Thanks.

Can they still sue you. Do you still have to appear in court. Will the judge just dismiss the case?

I need an affordable attorney in or around Burlington, Kentucky. I gave custody of my daughter to some family members due to a bad situation I was in at the time and now I need to get her back. She is in the states custody right now and I desperately need help to get her back. If anyone knows of an affordable attorney in the Burlington, Ky area I would greatly appreciate any help. I don't have a lot of money right now and I also live in Greeneville, TN but my daughter is in KY

The un-constitutional and frankly un-patriotic "Patriot Act" has been abused by the FBI against average American citizens since it was "passed" by Congress.

So are you surprised?

Do you really think the government is you friend and protector?

charges are being made against me. A person builed a porch for me and didnt do it right per city inspectors. So i didnt pay her all her money. On Dec. 9,2006 She came to my house with a hammer talking real crazy threaten me and turn it around like I threaten her and file charges on me. I tried to file charges on her but the police said snice she filed first I couldnt. Now im facing trumped up charges on me when in fact it should be the other way around. Do you think I need to pay a private lawyer to handle this or keep the public defender to get me off? We both exchange words toward one another but no punches was passed.

My friend worked in a retail store and falsified some returns. (oops.) needless to say he got caught and when they questioned him he told them the complete truth and wrote a written statement in which he said that he stole and will be paying it back. The man that had him fill this out and sign it said he wasn't going to be charged as long as he paid it back. Then Bill asked if all the other employees were going to know...because a lot of them were his friends. The guy said no because it would break confidentiality so they couldn't say anything to the other associates. But Bill was just on facebook and got a message from one of his friends he worked with saying that his boss told them all that he had falsified returns. Which OBVIOUSLY broke that confidentiality. We live in Kansas and were just trying to figure out what he could do. Thanks!

They seem to think they're above the law, or that our laws don't apply to them. If we can smoke in there(ignoring state law), why not drink alc. after 2am? Are they allowed to police their 'reservation' any way they want? I tried to get 'banned from there (as a last resort measure for my addiction) and they said no. If, I raise hell or cause some trouble they said they would ban me, but not without going to jail.

I work in a cash office in a department store in the UK. There is a camera in the office which we know about. However, recently a few of us have begun to suspect a sound bug in the office, as our bosses seem to know things that we have been saying. If this is true, is it illegal and what can I do about it?

I just wonder if people would feel differently about torture if they watched the videos of the sawing off of our citizen's heads, not to mention the families of these innocent victims as the heads were held up and displayed.

I find it hard to stomach - the listening public has been bombarded with 'downloading copyrighted music/video is wrong'. Now the RIAA believes that rattaning those college kids across the wallet will stop the practice of illegal downloading - absurd.

Hey - Some may feel justified downloading songs - remember the recent music/consumer retail industry mastermind plan to inflate prices of retail CDs... (of which I bought many)... what resulted from that ridiculous mess was a class action lawsuit against the industry giants responsible - I never received my check from SONY, BMG, or any of the other conglomerate music machine bigwigs. They made additional hunderds of millions - and the fiscal legal ramifications against them was 1/100,000,000th of what they made (more like 'legally' stole) from us.

Hey - RIAA - Go get the 3K from the music industry cash coffers - they have the vaults, not those poor college kids. Then maybe we'll forgive you.

try - Future of Music Coalition.
