it is a recipe that is being used to make "ice" and has lead to an arrest in this case. it is a science project for kids to make a crystal garden at home using there product of laundry blueing ,charcoal and ammonia. As in this case the results was indeed a form of ammonia crystals that grew fairly quick in darkness, then {it happens that some drug inforcement people got told that it was meth and warrent was issued to search. this stuff was taken as evedence and charges of possesion of a controlled dangerous chemical was made on the owner of the house. they may now no it was not meth because they havent sent it to be tested yet and are already in the last stages before going to trail. will they not be without evidence if they don't show it to be meth like they claim?

Someone stole his cellphone last night and he knew who took it, because it was the only person in the break room with him. His boss and everyone told the guy they were calling the police. Then the guy went away and came back with the cellphone, saying one of the other guys took it. Of course no one believes him. One of his bosses told my husband that he was going to get fired soon anyway. Then TONIGHT someone stole his jacket with his keys in it. He drove his father's car and he brought him an extra set of keys. Now this guy (I figure he did it) has a car and house key. My husband just started this job three weeks ago and loves his work, but this is getting bad. I feel like going down there and staking the place out until they get off work at 12:30 to see if anyone carries it out--although I know I probably won't see anything. I am so mad!!!! Should I go or stay home???????? I feel like I should do something. I know one of his bosses and I think I should go and speak 2him.

Let’s imagine this scenario:
Someone is viciously sucker punched for no reason, and fells on the floor in agonizing pain and suffering for 10 minutes. This happens in a public street, in the state of California.
If someone starts recording(with a mobile phone) the victim on the ground in suffering because thinks it’s funny and then post the video on the Internet.
Is it illegal to start recording that?
Is it illegal to post the video on the Internet?
If so, what is the possible legal punishment?

Thank you.

Hi there

I was wondering i know viruses are illegal under the computer misuse act for harmfull intend but would that rule or anyother law apply to a virus that seeks out other viruses (say on the internet) and destroy them. Also would it make a difference to the outcome of the answer if the virus fixes some of the damage done by the virus.

Just bought a house in los angeles area. The home inspector did not detect a major leak in the plumbing nor did he see a visiable crack in the footing of the housing. The crack was visable from outside and if he had seen it we could have known that the crack extends all the way inside the house underneath the carpet. The seller will not take any resposibility for any repairs, says did not know about cracks and if we had it in the inspection report, prior to close of escrow, then they would have dealt with it or fixed it. The cost for repair of the cracks outside and inside of house is $3000. I dont know how much the plumbing is going to be for the leak. So now I want to go after the inspection company how should I go about it?

I would like to find out, if a person's car is towed by a professional towing company in Illinois, and then this person goes to the towing place to get her car back and notices the car is not actually locked up within the towing company's fence but is sitting in an ally and the owner of the car in broad daylight, using her own key drives her car away. Is this breaking the law? Could the car owner be charged for stealing, even though it is technically her personal property? Or does the towing company take ownership of the car once they take possession of it?

I have a son whose is being accused of child abuse in Illinois. He is supposed to have caused a bruise about the size of a quarter on his stepdaughter's leg. He goes before a judge in April. His lawyer has told him he is confident the case will be declared "unfounded". The pessimist in me though still wonders what if. The stepdaughter has told DCFS on several occasions that abuse did not happen but her biological father keeps pushing the case. So, my question is this, what kind of punishment would he mostly likely get if the judge still thinks there was abuse? He has never before had anything like this happen and has no record of any kind. Could they make him leave the house or would it be something more like parenting classes and such? Thank you to everyone who answers.

I called in to the Clerk of Courts office to find out that on April 4th my ex-fiance has a pretrial conference and on May 14th he has a plea hearing. Should a Plea hearing come before a pretrial conference? What does a pretrial conference mean? What will happen at this point? Can his lawyer do this for him or does he HAVE TO be there in person?

I am so heartbroken over what is happening to my family. My parents moved here in 1999 from our native country. It's not a easy decision-to leave everything you know behind..But for the sake of a better education and a brigther future for their kids and better opportunities my parents took a chance, packed everything in a suit case, and moved to the US, where dreams are made. It has been very hard for us for there is loneliness, longing for family and friends, not speaking the language, starting from scratch..etc. My point is people have been unfair to my parents. They have made them pay for things when they didn't have to, they have tricked them into signing papers, they have treated them differently and yes, unfairly. All because of this simple fact-communication. America is supposed to be a place of equality and a powerful country where everything is justified. So, my question is, "How are immigrants who don't speak fluent English protected from being tricked into things?" and what
