Do you legally have to call a judge "Your Honor" and do you legally have to rise when the bailiff says "all rise"?

What about during jury duty when you are in the giant room full of people who haven't been put on a jury yet and a judge enters to explain what's going on and the room is told to rise, do you have to?

Now that homosexual partnerships are recognised union for legal purposes, how does the dissolution of an unconsumated but otherwise loving heterosexual marriage compare in law with that of a 'consumated' homosexual partnership? Are both seen as equal, or it the homosexual relationship considered of better standing in law. If the latter, does this now mean that homosexual sex is considered more worthy in law than a loving but celibate partnership??

i work in a small residential home and most of the staff smoke. The bosses have tried to implement a no-smoking policy but when they are out of the building everyone lights up. I came on duty the other night and three of them had been smoking, it met me like a cloud (it was like a pub). One of the residents has a bad chest due to his medical condition, what are the laws on private residentail homes, does anyone know. Sorry if you are a smoker, i used to be one to, but i feel there is a time and a place for everything.

I know that there was a case in Scotland recently where prisoners were compensated for having to slop out (go to toilet in pots when locked up) in their cells. Just wondering what the situation is now? It still happens in Ireland - I had to do this when I was in prison recently - and there was no compensation over here. It is amazing that people still have to do this these days.

Should our bills be printed in different size or have some marking that allow blinds to tell which is 1, 5, 10, 20... etc? Or is that too expensive and impractical?

I'm curious about the legality of building a site which would allow friends to play texas hold'em and other poker games together and still be legal. If the players paid each other directly with paypal (site not collecting the money) would that be illegal?

I checked the ID and either didnt notice it was fake, or did a math error on the date...I never found out. Anyway, I did not INTEND to sell a controlled substance to a minor. If you are a lawyer, or you know for sure, please tell me if this is a crime of moral turpitude.
